I agree with @anon39655210. Lame as it is, it’s just the truth. Every piece of evidence says that retro costumes will take some liberties, it’s as much or even more lame to think otherwise.
I was actually joking, thou if they did they could’ve saved a bunch of time by just replicating her face once and using it for all female characters.

If someone wants it to be 100% accurate, they’re entitled to their opinion…doesn’t mean it’s going to happen…but I’m not going to sit here & tell them if they don’t like it ■■■■ off…
The current Retro costumes look great, and the accessories are fun to play around with. But I still wish they were more accurate - Glacius and Cinders look amazing, but when you look at Fulgore’s its just like…wtf
Just something to nit pick about Kim-Wi’s Retro…Her Default costume and her KI2 costume don’t have kneepads, but her Retro does?
Absolutely, we are talking in general here (at least I am).
Constructive criticism is welcome, it is something the devs can use, and it is completely alright if there are people who don’t like the retro outfits for not being exact copies. However, they have only themselves to blame for expecting the retros to look like exact copies. We are 3 seasons into the game, and none of the retros are exact copies, so people are just kicking themselves by wanting them to be such.
Therefore, complaining about the retros not being exact copies is not really constructive.

You can’t say that exactly…after all the complaints about season 1’s retros is the reason they got Kevin Bayliss to work on the season 2 retros & why they’re a lot more faithful to the original designs than season 1 is.

With Thunder being the exception, and maybe Maya (who is Season 2, btw), I find all the retros to be faithful to their original designs, but none of them are exact copies.

This isn’t gonna change anything and this is probably gonna annoy everyone lol. But anyway here’s what a more faithful retro would look like. Not perfect but still closer.
Her retro now is still made well and design wise it’s technically more functional and all that (adding the shorts and knee pads), it’s just not super accurate to the original, that’s all. Maybe they should call them alternate or updated retros instead of just retros so that the people that want faithful originals don’t get their hopes up.

I am too. I just didn’t tough saying people have to play KI2 to see costumes as they where in 96 the same as telling them to beep off. To me it was just seeing the truth as it is.
I don’t like all retros in KI (Orchid’s for example is one costume I despise) but usually the ones I don’t like is because they are not well made (IMO), not because they don’t match. I’d actually be fine with Orchid’s retro costume being less like the original in favor of looking better.
