I have a genuine question for you Andy; have you ever had a single negative opinion about a single aspect of this game? i’m starting to get the feeling you’re just the world’s biggest fanboy towards MS/IG.
I mean I ■■■■■■■ love this game too but I don’t just ignore legitimate complaints like you seem to do all the time.

Difference here is that it’s not just Twitch chat but everywhere else including these forums where people love the game. It’s better to have people disagree with your product decisions than to just have yes man and then put out a terrible product.
Me and the rest of the people complaining aren’t complaining just to be rude or destroy the community, we are complaining because we love the game and want it to be the best.

Kim Wu is not what I wanted, but I do really like her.
But I don’t get what the backlash is. There has always been this split whether or not KI is too colorful and kid friendly. I’ve always thought it wanted to be a bit goofy. It seems entirely in line with what I’ve come to expect.

I know they don’t. Which is why am giving my opinion instead of just giving a positive one. Without an opposing view their would never be any improvements because everyone would just accept everything as is. Which is what a yes man does. Again am not trying to be a jerk and I don’t want to use those words but those words illustrate what could happen. It’s not that I haven’t learned that people do not feel the same as I do, it’s that I know people don’t feel the way I do and if I don’t voice my opinion along with others who wish certain things in the game would improve then their would be no point in having forums for feedback which is what they asked for during the World Cup, not yes men.
Look at the forum in its entirety, there may not be people who do not feel as I do but compared to past characters, there are a ton letting it be known that they too feel the same way as I do.

You can make your point without using those terms to describe fans who liked what they saw. All you really needed to do was give your opinion, but you went a little bit further by belittling someone else’s opinion.

Sorry man. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. I didn’t really see Yes men as something that would get people upset. Sheep on the other hand I can see why.
You know, this is why we can’t have nice things… 
I’d love to get a chance to see more of the game as it’s being made, but every time IG releases something that’s even halfway unfinished or in need of polish, people run around and act like the ■■■■ sky is falling. I’ve said it elsewhere and I’ll say it here: I like Kim’s design, and I actually think her face looks pretty good for the most part. It can be touched up I’m sure, but I’m not worried about it at all. And as long as we’re taking Twitch chat as representative of mass opinion (cue eye roll), I saw a whole bunch of Kreygasm’s during her reveal as well.
Final thought: much as the MS/IG teams are fans of KI, they are first and foremost a development team that is trying to turn a profit with their game and hard work. Asking people to tweet out the stream isn’t “selling out”, it’s selling, period, and it is what they should be doing. If they do not sell their game, they will make no money, and KI will lie dead for the next 20 years until someone else revives it to try to sell it once again. That should not be a difficult concept to understand.

Everyone is so fast to ignore the creativity and uniqueness behind kin wus gameplay and all the hard work behind the balance work and careful consideration to a large casts new move sets and redesign.
Im not much bothered about what other games do now. MKX was just pure boring and SF5 dosent feel different enough imo
If polish comes before gameplay then i dont want it.
Its true puddles should reflect and splash and kims general face isn’t massively impressive. Yes its a little disappointing but im over gloss now!.. infact im over gloss about 3 minutes after the trailer starts and 1 minute into keits Kim demo.
gameplay matters
And as much as i could pick on KI about its gloss i could strip away other fighters for their basic, repetitive cast members or their horrible level of balancing.

Yes, I have posted my complaints about the game. If you really want to hear them PM me and I will share my list. I don’t want to clutter up this thread with an unrelated list of complaints. But there’s actually two things at issue here. One is “are the complaints legitimate.” People can have different views on this and we can discuss them on the forum. That’s a great thing to do and for the most part people do that. The other part is “are you expressing those complaints in a productive way.” I think this is an area that people need to work on - a lot.
The OP in this thread says, in no uncertain terms “I can’t believe that the Kim Wu reveal was handled so badly and that the character is of such low quality. Anyone willing to accept this (meaning disagree with me) is a sheep who is just too blind to see how awful this is. We need to ride IG until they fix this.” That is offensive. It’s offensive to everyone who cheered the reveal at KI cup, it’s offensive to everyone who posted that they like the character and it’s offensive to the developers. It’s demonstrably untrue, because the fan reaction to Kim Wu has been overwhelmingly positive. So, instead of posting this in one of the several existing threads on the topic of the reveal, we get an entirely new one.
The thing that makes me nuts is that the game developers are actual people and they read these forums. They are overworked and underpaid (because ALL game developers are overworked and underpaid) and they have put a tremendous amount of blood sweat and tears into making this game. No one wants to reveal their hard work and have people ■■■■ all over it. Constructive criticism should be shared in a constructive way. “I’d really like to see some improvements in the attention to detail on Kim Wu’s stage. It’s disconcerting when the puddles on the ground don’t react to the people walking on top of them, and I think that’s something that could be fixed.” Not “I can’t believe IG thinks that the Kim Wu reveal was acceptable.”

Glad im not the only one that thinks her animations look meh.
Her walk and general flow looks stiff again - just like maya and tj.
I thought it was only maya and tj because they learned how to use the engine and used motion capture.
Maybe this is the case for kim wu. Maybe she is motion captured again?
None or less its sad to see a fallback in terms of quality.

We do not speak about the gameplay which is brilliant, but of the graphic conception(design) of certain characters who are very limit.
I think that exactly many people can be disappointed by some pictures because exactly the game is a marvel of gameplay.

I wish Rash got this much attention. 
I have to agree. I never used Maya because I can’t stand her animations and I probably won’t be using Kim Wu for the same reason. TJ, Maya, Kim just look so stiff and it really bugs me the same way MK bugs me. Maybe that’s just how they do it in Chicago ;(

I love maya and tj. I love on kims coat moves and flows. Haven’t really had a good look at her hair. She moves grand for me. She kicks ■■■ and that’s what I’m after.

EH, KI has never been great in the graphical department. When MKX dropped it made it abundantly clear the difference in graphical fidelity.
Good thing I don’t play KI for the amazing graphics. It’s the game play that shines in this game people. You should be more concerned with how Kim-Wu plays. I mean seriously name one character/stage in this game that’s just out of this world gorgeous graphics wise.
IG/MS get what’s really important to the game right. It runs at 60 FPS which is paramount to how it plays and it has amazing netcode.
If you’re really all about quality of graphics why are you even playing on Xbox One there isn’t a single game on Xbox that impresses me compared to what is available on PC.

Yeah, I understand that. Unfortunately it’s one of my many flaws when choosing a character. Believe me I wish it didn’t bother me so much.
