I was talking about a crossover between KI and Darkstalkers, though. I’m just not sure if the somewhat-overlapping monster tropes between the two games would make for an interesting roster, although the Instinct and Dark Force mechanics are pretty similar, and I believe Shadow and whatever the special/EX meter was for Darkstalkers are similar as well.

Mixed feelings, not after what happened to street fighter v tekken.
That or MK vs KI could end up like MK vs DC.
because the MK part would add nothing to the game.
But SFxTekken was not poorly made or bad
it just had hidden DLC on the disk…which gave it a huge backlash
also the gems were not great

Well, alot of people complained about the lack of balance in the game, from what I understand, and because they were never really addressed, competitive players just stopped playing it.
For someone like me who cares more about the fun-factor, I can still play SFxT and have a blast with my friends!
The whole DLC thing was REALLY bad though. Lesson learned… hopefully.
That wasn’t the only reason, it just wasn’t meant to be - like this.
Honestly it’s a combination of both. I don’t really like Jago either. Shoto’s generally leave a bad taste in my mouth. My overall thoughts on SF just come down to, +90% of the entire cast are human with just bad personality. That doesn’t mean there’s no redemptive qualities, or that you shouldn’t like it. I’m just more interested in over-the-top characters and mechanics.
Some fighting games I do enjoy: Soul Calibur, KI, Primal Rage, Guilty Gear, and (very controversial opinion) the 3D Mortal Kombat games.
please don’t do KIvsMK. i really don’t like MK and i don’t like cross game idea. i think they are poor ideas and always failures.

Crossovers aren’t bad. They just need to be done right. MK vs DC was not done right…for whatever reason.
Could not agree more. Its one issue I have with SF. Good game, but none of the characters interest me at all.
