assuming on how they’re making the game super duper noob friendly, would be more easy to think about filling the season 3 roster with a bunch of guest characters and @rukizzel are telling right now he isnt trolling so Arbirter will receive his own stage because of the ms trademark but the other guests who cares?

I am saying we can empathize. Being on the other side is an interesting experience that we don’t expect everyone to grasp (why decisions are made, etc…) but never forget that we are all still fans, like you.

at first I was happy for the graphical improvements … but then the feeling of disappointment has taken over.
I hope that everything I’ve read here is troll, or somehow “provisional”, would be a disaster if any fighter does not have its own internship, because it would be out of place, the stage of a fighter is also his home, its identity within KI. by KI fans I say that having more characters without a reason, I do not like! it is already difficult to accept characters without a story in KI, let alone without even the stage … we do not lower the quality of KI pls!
Dynamic themes mixed and matched on stages seems odd though. Like put Spinal’s theme on TJ’s stage. Doesn’t work. Each stage has an identity that is 50% the music.
And you’re basing this fear from a vague thread about lighting changes in a fighting game. Has…there been anything else that tipped you off that this was going to be lower quality?
@rukizz3l wow i am impressed with all the choices made for season 3. i have always said they should reduce the number of stages and focus on characters and the game as a whole ,sf5 and mkx that have greater budgets than ki dont have the character to stage ratio that ki has. the new lighting makes the stages look amazing!! so realistic!! pls i have one question is will there be head tracking for season 3?? all modern fighters have it! thank you in advance for your response. you are the best
@rukizzel How will each stage have the personality of the character if they’re only 3 stages and 8-9 characters? To me,the stage is part of the character even if you are not playing the character.
To be honest, although Arbiter’s stage is looking to be really good, I can agree to an extent. And to be honest, I’m more curious if IG have any other reasons for making this decision, besides the massive work they did with the new lighting.
Thanks, Rukizzel. Usually I’m just a lurker in the forum, but this news I had to jump in. I’m disappointed, but I can’t wait for what you guys have in store.
I think we should all relax though. Mass hysteria doesn’t help. I’m sure there is a perfect reason why IG made this decision, and it’s something they will share with us in the coming weeks.
And considering that stages were one of the most expensive things to make in KI, I feel that having minimal stages would allow IG some breathing space to work on other things for the game
