no, because bad news would have been justified (supposedly) with “this is the new feature that justifies losing stages”

there’s a S3 because the game is profitable. They puposely held back classic characters in S2 because they knew there would be a season 3. MS gave us to it because KI sells. It’s not a favor they’re doing to us.
I don’t have to be thankful for another season. I want the same quality as before. If not, don’t bother releasing it.

For the moment you simply have less quantity, which does not mean the quality will increase.

[/quote]That my friend is a double-edged sword that could be swung back in the other direction…I mean the argument here is pretty much new features vs new features…either one adds both quantity & quality to the game. Yes adding characters without custom stages is taking away from the quality of those new characters. Their stages haved helped to flesh out a distinct personality, a visual cue of who they are & what they represent. Leaving that out is like telling half a story.

We are talking Decreasing. Especially in stages (although the quality is increasing for that in the lighting) Nothing is decreasing other in the number of stages.

We Got 9 stages season 1
We got 8 in season 2
We are getting 3 in season 3 which
I believe something else is coming for the lack of stages 
We have a stage per character in all seasons. The reason Shago and Omen shares a stage is because the stage is a dark jago stage and Shago is Omen possessing Jago.
They don’t have to keep that trend though Do they?
They should. That is what the backlash is for. In fact,do they have to make a S3? It isn’t a question if do they have to. It is a question of should they.
One thing that would make sense to me, & i’ve said this somewhere before as well as others…it would make sense recycling older stages if the remaining characters in s3 are minions of Gargos from the Astral Plane & their all portrayed as invading attackers…meaning they have/need no representation in this plane other than a theme of being tied to Gargos.
This… I didn’t understand. I though it was the number of stages… That brings up more questions for me:
Why are people saying its a disaster?
Why are people saying Ki is dead of not having one stage per character?
What’s the solution? More stages? NO?
Then what do they want?

KI won’t be dead. The pc port and the arbiter will ensure it. It won’t die. The solution is to have more stages eventually. One stage per character means a lot. Now you mentioned some extreme ones. They don’t represent everyone who is complaining. People will be upset about this. It is reasonable to. I got over it but still upset. I want a stage per character. I don’t think it is money that is the issue though. Time is.

I feel People are blowing this out of proportion which sometimes leads to the hate of the game which leads to over hated which THEN leads being hated for playing it.
Thankfully I haven’t seen it here. but I’m worried that the backlash of the lack stages could become sometime more then it is.
@TempusChaoti Confirmed that stages are incredibly expensive to make on the old forums. Not sure how long though…
the problem is that in this game “eventually” never happens.
They wanted to fix graphical glitches eventually
redo some retros eventually
fix riptor’s music eventually
redo some animations eventually
These things never got fixed, never will. I don’t think we’ll get new stages later. The only thing fixed, was something nobody asked for. Lightning.

The solution is. Will they apply the solution? I don’t know. Based on what we have so far(we don’t have everything),the Season 3 pack seems like the weakest pack yet. Especially the ultra edition if we get one.
When did they say they were going to fix Riptor stage stage song. It’s not the best but it’s fine
