I’m with you on that. I want more brand new characters like we got with Season 2. I much prefer canonical characters which can go on to later games in the series, because to me those are of much higher value in the long run.
Back on topic, the new lighting looks good, and I have a feeling the levels are all going to feel a lot more awesome. Thunder’s stage is of particular interest for me, I wonder how the lighting will look with and affect the rain?

yes the new “clayfighters remastered” I’ll believe it when I SEE IT. Interplay has a habit of saying things and not following up with action. I do hope the game come to fruition, but my breath I ain’t holding.
Jim probably wouldn’t have been too far fetched, what with Double Helix once being Shiny Entertainment, but now that IG has it…I’d say doubtful.
If he was though…I’d have mixed feelings. On one hand, he seems a bit out of place…on the other, it’d be Groovy!!

Take a few days away from the game. I’m serious. Give it a week and then come back. You’ve got to give your brain a chance to reset; like a muscle that’s full of lactic acid you’ve got to give your mind a chance to clear out the chemicals. I admire your passion, I definitely think the game is incomplete without Eyedol, and I agree that this is a letdown and I think the new music system will be clunky and out-of-place. That being said, you’re poisoning yourself and that’s not fair to you.

thats why i had in all of K.I in question mark… but if you are talking about S3 roster we dont know even half the S3 roster. we know tusk is here but we dont know if gargos will come back or eyedol, thy are not accounted for. besides IG will most likely do what they always did in the other seasons…make more original charecters especially now since we are running low on returning people. some more generals in gargos army would be a fine start to create original charecter for this season.

Also I want 2 more Guest. I may be alone but if 9 chars are in S3 and we are guessing Tusk, Kim, Gargos, Eyedol(maybe) and Vamp char are a lock…We already have Rash and Arbiter. I want Joanna Dark and maybe Spawn or Scorpion to round out the roster. But I’m Ok if we just get Joanna and the other is another original char. Please put Joanna Dark in KI Iron Galaxy and Microsoft.

What’s with all the ■■■■■■■■ about 3 stages? Isn’t that only one less stage than we should be getting? Aren’t there only 4 new characters? I’d much rather them clean up the existing stages cause a lot of them were very ugly, like the Riptor, and Fulgor stage.

The only thing that could ruin season 3 for me would be more guest characters than the 2 we already know about. There are just way too many better ideas for characters circulating these very forums.
We already got our Rare guest and our Microsoft guest. Let those two slake the lust of those who want guests.

I’d expect at least 8 characters since the stage news was apparently the last bad news we’d be getting, although that’s not set in stone obviously. We’ve seen three characters already, Tusk is a lock as a fourth character, Gargos seems extremely likely, there’s currently a remote chance of Master Chief showing up, and the tease on Wednesday might be a character we don’t know about yet. So I think it’d be wrong-minded to predict four characters at this point.
The reasons why people are upset about the stages have been enumerated over and over at this point, but briefly: they pair with the characters to help flesh out the character; and hearing that only three stages are being made at a time when we know nothing about the structure of season 3 sows seeds of doubt about how big a deal the new season is going to be. This latter concern has been assuaged to some extent by subsequent developer comments, though.
