Hello, I just stop by to say WOW it looks incredible, I love that you guys are taking the time to do this. I can’t even remember the last time ongoing game like this got a graphical overhaul as a update! You guys are going all out, and I love it!!!

I think the fact that it is a daylight stage makes it really hard to compare lighting with the other stages in the game.

Sad but true. We are speculating alternate “Shadow Tiger Lair” type work arounds.
Um, why?
I mean, I get that classic stages is part of this obsession that some people have with cramming the old games down new KI’s throat rather than letting new KI breathe and excel at its own things. But alternate stages? What’s the point?
Fir the tease,it has to be the Arbiter teabagging Thunder and the the new character walks in and watches.

I couldn’t tell you why, people want what they want.
I guess the press has to stay silent until something from your part is being released…perhaps the final trailer/teaser of the S3 release, right?

THIS IS GODLIKE. It’s nice seeing so much time put in to rehauling the lighting system since there were so many issues in the past with lighting changing between updates, sometimes looking washed out, etc. Lighting really is important and after seeing what IG did with the S2 stages, I’m super excited to play on the old stages again. The side-by-side comparisons are like night and day. GREAT WORK!

@JEFFRON27 I have to disagree, I wouldn’t call that a loss at all, far to the contrary. Having Ultimates is something fans have been clamoring for since S1. Finally getting that done would be a huge sigh of relief. I’m inclinded to agree with the op, people do tend to pick the same stages a lot, myself included. Now, with that said, I’m sure the new stages will be appreciated by some, but in the grand scheme on things stages are not top priority. Regardless of what’s been said we already have a good amount of stages. I greatly anticipate what the stages will look like with the update as well as where they’ve reallocated the resources that they didn’t use for stages. Who knows, maybe some of the existing stages will have a new breath of life to them 
On topic: I love the new lighting, can’t wait to see Jago’s stage.
The game will look way better as a result of this I am very happy

Will certain characters get improved animations? (pretty much just T.J and Maya)

Maybe we’re getting retro stages which wouldn’t count as “All-New?”
I’d like that, but I’m not sure/ It’d be interesting though now we can recreate those classic battles…well, almost classic.
Nope, they made it clear that it will only be 3 new stages.
We will find out why soon, hold your pitchforks at the ready till then
3 all new stages for Season 3… but what about Season 4? Or 8?
Can’t wait for Season 32.
