Killer Instinct Season 3 Graphics Shine Brighter

Spending more development time on other things… #tagteammodeconfirmed!!

Remember that trailers always zoom heavily upon items in game so those fighters shooting cold be the same size as Sadiras white clothed cohorts in the left background.

Statues on wall could be farrrrrrrrrr away. Resolution is close and zoomed for detail of trailer.

We saw centipedes snakes and spiders for MAYA TRAILER and they are very low visibility in game.

I would LOVE the ki2 tag team mode!!!

What if stageless characters are half-price? Seems fair to me.
I just don’t feel like I have enough info on S3 to get justifiably upset about what we’ve heard so far.
It sounds like they gave us the bad news first (and even that was overshadowed by the good news of new lighting.) I’m guessing it will be good news from this point forward.
Stay tuned.

Ummmmmm… Out of sheer late-night curiosity, how would you classify me?

So I missed post #371. I’m convinced. Oh well, that’s disappointing. I’m still going to play the game, anyways. On a side note, how do I use Dev Tracker on a mobile device? I ended up just looking up Isgreen.

A community manager.

I wonder if they will increase the resolution to 1080p this season.

If you go to the forums home and click on the categories drop down, there will be a button for Dev Tracker…

I’m actually really hoping that the Hurr B’Durr does not get his own stage. He’s a guest character. Gotta make room for actual KI characters.
Kim, Tusk and either Gargos or maybe the long awaited vampire (which was almost a classic character), should get their own stages, imo.

It’s on the left side atop the main page.

Oops I’m late lol

He has his own stage. It was shown in the teaser.

Yet according to Adam, we’ve only seen one of the new stages. That one being Kim’s…

“at least one stage” which does not translate to “only one stage”

Maybe just maybe this is trolling or in the worst case real negative info(I’m stil not sure yet).
Just to make you guys more hyped when the good news arrives :slightly_smiling:

I think this whole situation could have been handled better. Coming out with a detailed post explaining why this was done would have been better than trying to quickly sneak it in with a quick throw away line at the end of the lighting post.

This!

I’m as disappointed on not getting for example a gothic vampire stage, especially since I’m not too fond of Fulgore, Cinder and Riptors levels (prefer the less chaotic/technological levels) However the quality of the game will be a lot better and everyone who gets in on the fun with season 3 gets a game filled with content. That said, I’m curious as to what the developers will surprise us with content wise, I’m expecting new modes etc…lets hope I/we wont get disappointed…

As for the pc port, its a whole new player base, which means new income. They should price season 1-3 as a normal priced game though (including everything).

Also keep in mind that with the pc port bringing in new gamers and the new lighting engine and rebalancing making the game up to date and future proof again, we are seriously set up for the possibilty of a season 4, or something like smaller seasons (character/stage packs + extra’s) to keep the game alive. This is one of the few games where I really dont mind DLC, or one of those community funds.

I wouldnt mind paying extra for missing stages, since I would love for everyone to have one (love me some symmetry/continuity). However I am sure only three stages was a decision the developers felt they had to make, bringing the game fully into this generation was an important step to increasing its longetivity.

Got to be honest I’m hugely disappointed in the decision to only add three new stages for this new upcoming third season.

Twenty stages may sound like a lot for one vs fighting game but you’ve got to remember this one has been in development consistently since early 2013 and has been split into three chunks.

How are you going to sell the third season when it has less stage content than the previous two seasons?

Is the budget really that tight? IG did such a fantastic job with stage variety in Season 2 this feels like a such a huge step backwards for keeping the new season fresh and appealing and interesting on it’s own merit.

Season three would have been an instant purchase for me had it continued the same quality/quantity ratio of the first two seasons.

Poor decision IG/MS Studios.
