Kim Wu is B tier!? What sorcery is this? Lol, seriously, I think that’s too high for her, C tier maybe. I can see how she wins against half of her winning matchups but @CrazyLCD could you briefly explain how she wins against Thunder, Cinder and Kan Ra, thx.
Glad to see Mira bump up a tier, but I do think she can sit with the other a tiers.
I noticed quite a bit of irregularities for most fighters tab. An example would be the Mira vs Sadira mu. Mila’s tab has Sadira as winning against, yet on Sadira’s tab it’s her winning against Mira, which should be the correct way.
I don’t agree with a lot of the data for Mira but it’s not a big deal, it’s an interesting tier list nontheless.
Also I noticed it says Amenty was the one for Miras mu but I thought he dropped her? Or at least started playing other fighters more than her.

Website has finally been updated for patch 3.6 the World Cup Patch.
Took a while to compile this info, but hope everyone finds it interesting.
For those that haven’t seen this yet, this tier list is is made from data compiled from character specialists who provided matchup charts for their respective main characters.
Also keep in mind this list more than likely won’t mirror your ideals, it’s simply a fun experiment. I wasn’t part of the original plan and I merely only collected the data from players this time around but I’d assume that this list is merely just for fun and an experiment at best; Paul would have to clarify. Also realistically speaking sitting down every top player for the entire cast and having them play jury style to find a consensus to matchups would never happen. For the record I don’t agree with most of this new tier list but hey it’s just data.
I personally found the site interesting because it just gives an idea about how people feel about their characters more than an actual tier placements. Also I do feel that it’s a great reference to learn characters. Everyone picking up secondaries before world cup to cover bad matchups, so you can go there and see “Hey Orchid does well against so and so”.
P.S. - For those wondering why Eyedol and KilGore are not listed it’s because we didn’t have charts for them :’(
Seems weird, not as I expected, especially how high Gargos and shago is and how low Maya ,rash, and Hisako are. Can you elaborate why? Also does it use the ( not trying to be rude) the same stupid system the last tier list used? If so it will lose some credibility for me and others. Just explain the placements please.

Orchid is very strong this season, shes probably right where she should be which is high-mid.

I remember the old days, when my character and Jago (oh my Gosh!) was a low tier 
Watching the Wulf being top 3 or 5 at the start of the new game was astonishing. I’m used to play with mid tier characters. However I do believe this game is pretty fine with tiers.

KI2 never had a disticnt tier list did it? I always thought Glacius, Fulgore and Jago were strong characters in my opinion
They’re definitely not irrelevant. They’re a data point, like anything else. It’s just that tiers are not defined by tournament results. People forget that.
Agree. Most of the smart, competitive players in KI have Aria in their Top 3. So does SeaDraogon who placed 3rd at EVO (it was his first ever offline tournament). Omen’s debatable.
Define viable. If you’re talking about in tournament, then I’d have to disagree. “Tournament viable” usually means top tier.
My definition: If you can win with the character then it’s viable 
You win you win. You lose you lose.
