I’m just not used to people agreeing with me. People usually fight me, try to prove me wrong, even when I’m not. So this is new to me.

There are elements from the original plot that are carried over. In Season 1 Sadira was hunting down the combantants from the last Killer Instinct, all of whom fought in KI1. Character backstories initially carried over and have since been retconned and had further details added to so as to further fit with the story as it develops.
Such as Thunder looking for Eagle, Fulgore implied to be Eagle and Jago’s Tiger Spirit being revealed to be Gargos in KI2. Generally it’s best to assume that elements are the same as the original until confirmed otherwise and/or proved contradictory to new story elements.

I’ve spent most of my online life on Mortal Kombat forums… those places are toxic. If I make a point or arguement that is completely valid and even back it up with facts, there’ll still be people who will do all they can to prove me wrong.
