It seems as though most if not all of KI2’s past characters have been canonized in some form. KI2 Maya appearing in Kan-Ra’s intro iirc, KI2 Kim Wu mentioned in your example, KI2 Tusk and current Tusk must be one in the same, same goes for Spinal but it seems as though Tusk hasn’t remembered his previous battle with Gargos if I’m reading correctly. Wasn’t KI2 Glacius also mentioned at one point?
Well Glacius’ arcade mode says that he returned to Earth to recover his stolen tech. But I don’t think it’s the one from KI2
“Hey K-K-Kimmy,” he stuttered, “I want to tell you about this crazy dream I had last night.”
“Gotta get to the hospital,” she replied, tossing him an orange. “I’ll catch you later.”
“Oh, a dekopon!” he exclaimed happily as he grabbed the orange. “These are e-e-expensive.”
“They’re my uncle’s favorites,” she said over her shoulder as she strolled past.
“But my d-d-dream—” he stammered. “You were fighting this evil dude in a skull mask!”
“You’re going to talk about Punch Fighter on the day of your father’s funeral?” Kim asked with disgust.
“We grieve in our own way,” said Michael angrily.
“Yeah,” added Jeremy. “Don’t mock our way of expressing emotions simply because they’re different than yours.”
Kim rolled her eyes, muttering “Have fun PewDiePie wannabees” under her breath.
“He’s on YouTube!” said Michael.
“Duh. We’re Twitch streamers,” added Jeremy.

On a similar note, I am ecstatic that this is finally coming to fruition…
I always thought of the “ancient warriors” that it would end up Maya and Tusk vs. the world, but Kim and Tusk work just fine to me too.

Novella predictions for today’s chapter:
Wulf fights Aganos, Mira fights Thunder. Mira manages to escape with the Relic.
In the next chapter, Shago and Kim fight, and maybe Tusk arrives.
It would be cool get a Gargos’ teaser in one of them, like Mira talking about the conven being loyal to him or something like that
I couldn’t help but cringe at this thought. Since we know the outcome of this battle. And I don’t even like shago…

Mira vs Sabrewulf sounds absolutely brutal in my head and I love it.
Love me some Cinder banter, and I love the fact that Tusk is continuing to beat the crap out of UltraTech. Dude’s untouchable.
Hisako smiling at Kim after she helps banish Shago is a realy hilarious image in my mind. “I like her style. Very goth…”
It was really good! Looking forward to seeing how Jago interacts with Kim in the coming chapters, or what the heck Tusk is going to do now.
