Iron galaxy at E3 2017

A bit like Bayonetta a fantastic game but sales wise doesn’t compete with your Halo’s and Call of Duty’s etc

I won’t be surprise if they show off the 3rd character at E3.

I think this is one of the things you could pull out of Phil Spencer’s comments. Everyone is pining for the glory days of gaming, and we all want awesome AAA titles with killer graphics and high production values. But we’ve also been spoiled into thinking we can have all the things we want. But something that is often overlooked in these discussions is just how diversified the market is right now. You have Steam selling basically anything, with great games for $10 or less, garbage for $1.00, and blockbuster titles for $50. Both Xbox and Playstation have tremendous independent games that fulfill roles that can’t be filled by AAA games. Enter the Gungeon is a retro, pixel art rogue-like shooter that is available on all platforms, including Xbox cross play! It also costs $15 full price. Lately, I’m spending my time playing that instead of FFXV - which is probably a AAAA title as far as cost to make. I’m also playing more point and click adventure games in the last two years than in the decade and a half before when point and click games were simply dead because there wasn’t a market for AAA adventure titles.

I just beat Gears 4. It’s exactly what I expected and I enjoyed it. I love looking at the beautiful graphics. But the “impact” of Gears 4 on the video game world is really low. It does nothing new, and it won’t make my “best of the year” list. I finished the coop campaign and got a diamond achievement because only 8% of players run a full co-op campaign. That’s a terribly small number. MS knows this. So should they take Co-op out of the next Gears. Probably they should. But maybe another game decides “hey, our game is a CoOp game. That’s it’s identity” and they innovate in that space. There has never been a better time for this kind of stuff.

But people are still kvetching about how “when I buy the game I want the FULL GAME, not the game with bits taken out to save for micro-transactions.” It’s time to move on.

I really don’t want a new season.
Time to move on, new developers/direction and a brand new ki!
I can’t even look to how ki is now.

I just want a way to play the first season…
When i try to install from the disk, i got a black screen.

So which is it?

Honest question, if you don’t like the game anymore and see no potential in the current iteration, then why are you here?

I like the first season and the second i love hisako, and that’s it.

Why im here? We have different forums for each season?

And pls don’t start with me.

All he did was ask a question about why you would continue to frequent a forum of a game you don’t like anymore. A question that you are by no means obligated to answer.

Really? I thought questions here was life-death situation.

Btw, i already replied.

End of story.

A new KI? …the same characters with new stages…
Much better a fourth season.
new stage, new characters.

It is said that respect for the ideas of others is fundamental in a society … but it is when I hear that it is time for a new KI to run my fascist crime!

Do you really want to start all over again? Again a season 1, with the same characters that we all know, because KI would be without the classic characters of a series? In each MK there is a Sub Zero and a Scorpion, so in each KI there would be a Jago and a Fulgore.

What sense would a new KI? To have the same roster again with some small variation but with different stages? Like the difference between KI1 and KI2, same characters but different stages.
At this point would not it be better to put those stages in the current KI and further increase the variety and choice?

I prefer to see a new KI in at least 10 years, when technologies will really guarantee an evolution compared to the current one, as has already happened.

Same here, that would be lame.

Rather much don’t ya think :cold_sweat:

No! ..a new KI for the next xbox (not scorpio)

Implying there would be another xbox when all of us don’t know.

In reality it’s either a season 4 or NO KI.

I don’t know why people insist that stopping season 4 will mean we’ll be getting a proper sequel with a bigger budget. That’s just not the case. Seasons are cost effective for Microsoft and the system seems to have worked well for them. Once production finally stops on this iteration of KI. Microsoft will no doubt want to take a break from the game. Let it gestate a while, after all it was released over 3 years ago and has been getting content and tweaks ever since. What other console games can say that, especially ones in such a niche genre. Kudos to Microsoft.

Because of this I’m all for a fourth season.

So, you guys don’t want a sequel? Better graphics, better gameplay, new gameplay mechanics…

Imo, a new ki and a new direction is the best option.

With all those fighting games releasing this year, nobody will look to ki.

A new ki game, that’s the real deal.

It’s amazing how deliberately blind people can be. What we want has nothing to do with it. The question is “what’s likely to happen.” The odds of an announcement at E3 of a big budget sequel to KI are 3720 to 1. (May the Fourth be with you).

Blind? I just said what would be good to ki.

I don’t know about the $$ situation.

Ya but that’s based on Microsoft. If Microsoft thinks it’s worth it they pay for work to continue. We sadly don’t know yet their plans :frowning:
