Before this becomes a thing, here is the quote from the business article @anon39655210 posted:

"Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One in 2017. "

After all the fussing over Tekken 7 I don’t want people running off thinking this is a PS4 exclusive. The announcement trailer has no logos or marking indicating platform whatsoever.

I would personally have preferred Power Girl, just because she looks cooler. Supergirl being… well… just a female Superman, more or less. But I guess with the Supergirl show, it makes sense she is also in the game.

And btw, Aquaman looks HOT!

So for the story… Judging from the trailer I’m speculating that Brainiac brings the justice league to his domain to participate in a tournament.

From what I understand in the articles, the story picks up shortly after where Injustice left off. The good guys are trying to clean up bad-Superman’s mess and get the world back on the right path.

“And of course we’re going to continue to tell the epic story of the Injustice Universe. When last we saw them, Superman was imprisoned in a Red Sun prison cell, while Batman was continuing the good fight against the forces that would see Superman’s tyranny back in power. Where do we go from here? And what new characters will join the fight? Of course you’ll have to play the game to find out. And we can’t wait for you to get your hands on this game. She is Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El afterall. I like Superman but something about Supergirl seems more fitting now that I wont be playing the posterchild of the game.

Aquaman looks weird from the trailer. Reminds me of a lesser Tusk

With Red hood becoming more mainstream thanks to Arkham Knight, I hope that Red hood and/or the Arkham Knight himself is a playable character.
