The sad thing is, Fable 2 was a really fun game with an ending/bad guy scenario that left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth…it actually made me retroactively like the game less…

Really enjoying the Fable Legends beta now though. With KI and Fable Legends, microsoft has some nice competitive games.

Well yeah, it doesn’t surprise me that a hardcore KI player has friends that remember Perfect Dark fondly. I have a very close friend who played Perfect Dark before we got into Halo CE. We still play FPS mainly. Most of the CoD, Halo, GoW, Battlefield players aren’t so hung up on a game that came out in May of 2000. We’re almost 16 years from when this game you really like came out. Its a very odd choice. But again I understand that many here are players who fell in love with KI from the old days and feel an attachement to PD by proximity. So it makes sense it that regard. But if the aim is to please the existing hardcore members wouldn’t y’all rather get an original character? I’m sincerely asking. The guest slots seem better spent on widely popular, recognizable, relevant characters.

Spawn is always a great choice for guest spots because what is so cool about him is how he looks. His stories were, in my opinion, laughably bad when I looked into them a little bit. But there is no denying it for me. Spawn is one of the coolest looking comic book characters ever created. Plus there are really cool variations. A really badass Ninja one, a Samurai one, and I saw this cool African one with a Spear and oval shield. And McFarlane is in gear right now to relaunch an anime.

Battletoads would have been a very odd choice due to how irrelevant he is but then again Rare Replay did come out recently. I admit though that it would be a very careless and wasteful use of guests to use Rare Replay to justify adding both Rash and Joanna Dark. I would love to see the game go Super Smash Bros and add a bunch of guests. But if we are keeping it really limited I would rather see someone from a game that will still sell millions. Someone like Skorge from Gears of War.

I honestly don’t have an attachment at all to the Perfect Dark games. I liked Goldeneye much more. To me she is just that great of a fit for the game in my opinion. I know Perfect Dark has nothing going on as a franchise, but as a KI character, she really would be cool.

The only reason I would not want spawn is because if they do get Keith David to voice the arbiter then he won’t voice spawn. So unless they got spawns actor from the old movie which I highly doubt then he’ll seem off to me. Anyway thats just my opinion.

Out of curiosity, what do you feel makes her a good fit, specifically? I feel like a gun-based character would be good, but I don’t see Joanna Dark being a great fit with some of the other options MS could go with.

She “looks” the part to me, fitting in with the female cast. She was styled similarly. Didn’t Bayliss do work on Joanna Dark? Her later look from Xbox 360 looks good in style. I know IG could come up with some great specials and gadgets for her, not even so much the guns. I wouldn’t give her a DP. Maybe some good in-air options, maybe some directional weapons like Fulgore. She could be the anti-Orchid totally. The potential there for another strong female is great. I’d consider maining her.

I have never seen that thing before, but it does look pretty ■■■■ cool lol I wouldn’t mind seeing it in KI.

I actually hope there isn’t another guest. I would rather them make another new character. Guests are fine and all but the new characters really add to the lore in my opinion – assume that Rash and Arbiter are non-cannon. Plus is just cool seeing some new actual KI characters.

But if there HAD to be another guest, I would like to see Joanna Dark or someone from Gears of War, I guess.

None. I prefer original KI lore characters than guests and shadow versions.

I hear ya, and I’m really hoping we don’t have any more guests either, but the question isn’t whether you’d want one, it’s that IF there is a 3rd one, like it’s already happening for sure, then who would you want it to be?

That would be absolutely amazing. Kaim would definitely be at or near the top of my list, no question!

What you never beat Eyedol I smashed him with Jago and my fav on KI Gold was Kim Wu I could beat that with her on extra hard and ludicrous speed
