Bugs would most likely be a “Bait and Switch” style character with some command counter tools and may utilize a dig similar to Glacius’s puddle. A new character that parodies Bugs Is a smarter option

I would like to see raiden from Metal Gear Rising
Y’know…NetherRealm has DC, and Capcom has Marvel; maybe ‘Killer Instinct’ could use some comic characters, too. Valiant comics has been making pretty big strides in the past couple years and are now developing movies based on their IP. Some of their characters would be fit in with KI almost seamlessly.
Ninjak’s aesthetic is probably too close to Jago’s, and the Eternal Warrior is probably thematically too close to Tusk, but X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, and Shadowman would all work well. Archer, and Armstrong would also work, though they wouldn’t fit quite so well – still better than Rash. Even Quantum and Woody could work as a sort of tag-team the player is able to switch between, similar to ARIA’s drones.
I’d almost be willing to bet that Fulgore’s second colour scheme is already a stealth shout-out to X-O Manowar, so someone involved in the game’s creation is a likely a fan.

There are plenty of characters I can think of that I would love to see in KI as a guest. The likelihood of seeing them is slim, but it would still be nice to see some of them.
Either one of these two would be great.
Justice could fill the gunslinger itch that I want in the game, and either of them could bring a unique and interesting move-set.
Rash was a great pick, he’s fun as hell to play even in his early form. That said, I don’t want another ‘goofy’ character, I think he fills that slot perfectly and it’s time to move forward with some serious picks.
Personally I’d love to see any one of the following
Sub-Zero
Spawn
Lobo
Kameo (more similar to her Kameo 2 concept though)
Jet Force Gemini (you play as Juno for health bar 1, and then Vela for health bar 2, Lupus could come cameo in for an assist move/ultra)

seriously though I just hope the guest characters are not part of the 8 characters for the season. I don’t mind if they are hidden unlockable bonus characters but not characters that take up slots for potential new and interesting ones that fit the KI lore.
My friend called me up last night and asked me about Rash since he just learned the news and he was really upset about it. He said Rash doesn’t fit and it is such a dumb idea, his words not mine so as you can see a lot of fans don’t like this idea of Battletoads and others infiltrating KI.
You and your friend does not constitute evidence that “a lot of players” are upset about Rash. Don’t try to speak for other people. It drives me crazy when people amplify their opinions with “me and all of my friends, and anybody I talk to.” It’s hearsay at best, and people (including me) are always inclined to wonder if you are being truthful. Instead, just talk about how YOU feel. That’s valid enough and no one can tell you that you don’t feel that way.
As an aside, if your friend just found out about Rash last night, he’s clearly not heavily involved in the game…

I think MS could allow developers or publishers that are co working with MS to allow them to develop a character for KI with the help of IG and you would get that character in KI if you bought the other game. For instance Square Enix developing Lara Croft with the help of IG and if you buy Tomb Raider you get Lara in KI. It would be cheaper since and would take too much time because SE would be developing it (with IG helping mainly keeping the balance) and SE would benefit from it too since it would incentive more players to buy TR. 343 could do someone that you get if you bought halo 5. The Coalition if you bought gears 4 etc..
