Now what about (original) Dante from the DMC series? From what I have gathered about him, he happens to display as well as flaunt his sexuality simply by wearing his trademark trenchcoat while at the same time showing/revealing his tight, muscular abs, am I right?

Yeah, we discussed that above that there aren’t many main lead female protagonists, so people just started mentioning the female characters they like.
She wanted to be free from the mask that was put on her by her douchebag of a boss. After killing all her opponents and winning the tournament Calypso offered her the key to the mask however, it was strung up to a saw like trap and if she took it her boss would die. She ended up taking the key and killing her boss but decided she liked the mask the way it is making her whole plot ultimately pointless in the end… her truck was badass though.
I’m quite surprised no one put 2B here yet…
Then again I have not played Nier myself so.
Considering she is a lolita sexdoll, I’m actually surprised too…

Bayonetta is
Gifs just because talking about how awesome Ulala is can never give her as much credit as seeing her in action, she saved the planet from an alien invasion twice, has the most infectious cheery can-do attitude and has dance moves and style like no other. 
Then there’s Miss Liddell who’s personal struggle to regain her sanity really was something to behold and her overcoming all the odds to be as strong as she is in the end is one hell of an impressive feat after everything she’s gone through, also has beautiful dresses.
