Does TJ have Anti-Air?

ofcourse tj vortex is highly puishable its an antiair that leads to a full combo!! its called high risk high reward. its difficult for all characters to antiair great aerial charaters not just tj. u guys make . make it sound like tj is bad, i repeat people need to get good, tj should be roling out of those situations. tj requires skill and low skilled players will think he sucks

Get good? Hmm…I wonder if I’ve ever played you.

Here’s a quick sample of my work:

I know how to play this game.

What is a flipout?? (new player here)

how cute, you did an average combo against a scrub… that means nothing, anybody that spends 5 minutes in training mode can do that. displaying critical thinking against a competent opponent would actually show if you know how to play the game or not. lol

Allows you to disrupt a combo in progress, and reset your combo meter into another new combo (there’s a risk that your opponent will see the opening, and escape without you being able to cash out damage from the previous combo).

Ok prick. Lol. I beat top 32 guys about 40% of the time. So, I’m doing something right. I don’t care about your opinion one way or the other, ā€œhonestlyā€.

Hey @llhonestyll no need to get hostile in most of your post, we are all just trying to have a casual conversation and spread some knowledge. @oShift2oVet78 even if it annoys you don’t fuel the fire friend.

Peace and love friends, good vibes all around

Edit: That was nice clip, sick stagger combos!

it makes me laugh when the people that are most vocal abt tj being bad ,need to improve themselves instead of downplaying their own character. and i repeat doing a combo doesnt mean you are good at a game or good with a character. fighting games are abt critical thinking and decision making under pressure against a good opponent!!. WOW so much misinformation is being spewed about how bad tj is smh

Learn how to read…I never said that TJ was bad…He just requires alot of time to be effective with. Jumping in with Jago, Sabrewulf and others from the cast is alot more user friendly. And, he does have several glaring weaknesses. Nobody that mains TJ (or hardly anyone that does) is a casual type player.

Thank you. Haters gon’ hate. And that’s not the best combo I’ve done by any means. But, I just liked the clip, so I linked it.

Heck, I bet it wasn’t. Looked great either way, especially for people who don’t play him often like myself.

This one is comparable to the other one. It’s just something I was working on in the lab, and so I was happy to execute this in a real match.

actually tj is among the easier characters to learn in ki ,even the developers recommend tj for beginners. its just to be good with tj like most characters it requires skill. tj is super strong imo and anyone that disagrees is just downplaying or they are not good enough its that simple

You just dont’ know what you’re talking about. That’s Ok. Have a good day sir.

Thank you for the good information :D, I saw your video, good skillz, I wish I could do that flipout you did with the backstep, very nice

tj is similar to saberwulf both are easy to pick up, but it requires good skill and fundamentals to excel with them

Just made this clip…You can see the flip out reset on my standing low kick. Resets the combo meter for me, but it’s also a situation where my opponent could slip away (or counter break me knowing that I’m going for a reset with the low/light kick button).

That was pretty nice, I often miss the light linker immediately after an opener. Also that finish was completely underwhelming. I would’ve wall-splat into instinct then added some manuals into an ultra… ULTIMATE douchebagery.

Lol, but in all seriousness, good stuff dude. Definitely have to have a set sometime.

I need to work on my instinct mode. And, I always end matches as quickly as possible. Rubbing in a win does absolutely nothing for me. Keep it moving.

Can you do a flipout and reset it with a target combo to open for something else?
