Community dying?

I think It’s already fast enough isn’t it?

I don’t know how to response to the rest…

You don’t seem that happy with the game right now…

As u can see the ki scene and this community, not only me.

I don’t… what is it I’m looking for?

Why im here? Cose i love the franchise since kid, and i loved season 1 and hisako from s2.
I keep here to see if something change.

I loved all the seasons.

Of course they all had ups and downs. But it all felt new and fresh.

Most of the ups out weigh the downs.

Also I never asked why you were here.

Everyone is welcome to play KI.

S3 was a mistake.

But, thats fine, everyone likes whatever they want.

I’ll be looking (and hoping) for big changes. Thats it!

I think that’s stretching a bit.

But I’ll stick by your words:[quote=“masterdericobr, post:107, topic:20722”]
everyone likes whatever they want.

As for this:

I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon…

Yeah, me too… But… Let’s see

I disagree. Season 3 isn’t as bad as the first Season where we literally had less lore to go with. I’ll admit, the “Cinematic Enders” was unnecessary and Shadow Lords could’ve been tweaked as a Street Fighter 2/Street Fighter Alpha type story mode instead of what we got now but that doesn’t mean Season 3 was a mistake.

That’s just me though.

S3 just killed the game.
And s1 was what made people pay attention to ki again.

Really? I thought it was the many announcements and tournaments can have been continually putting the game in the face of the community.

Lots of pro players had interest in s1 ki. That helped a lot.

Yeah that’s true

Famous faces like J.Wong, F.Champ and Alex Valle played back in season 1

Again. I disagree. Season 3 never killed it’s own game. It made it better than Season 1. A LOT better if you ask me.

Yeah, people has lots of interest in ki now, even pro players…

But no!

Whatever you say. Nothing hasn’t died here yet. Let’s all wait until the next patch to see where KI is going to go.

Is it that the game turned off pro players or is it that Capcom and Sony have put a lot of money into tournaments?

You aren’t going to succeed at multiple games anymore. You specialize or you languish in pools at tournaments. If the purse for SFV is multiples of what it is for KI and you are a pro, you play KI for the love of it. If you play for money, you play SFV.

Honestly, I don’t know of many people that really, really love SFV. Hell, Maximillian’s favorite Street Fighter game is 3rd Strike.

Sfv is a crap game indeed.
I love Max btw, and my favorite sf is ssf2t

Lol. So we are now debating whether the game is “interesting” or “dead” based on the interest of half a dozen pro players? That sounds sensible.

As far as S1 versus S3, if you were to release both games at the same time no - NO ONE - would choose S1 over S3. It’s just a ridiculous comparison. The launch of a game that is the first release for a franchise in 17 years is going to get way more interest and attention than it’s second expansion season 2 years later.

But I guarantee you, just based off of the install base of Xbox One, that more people are playing KI now than touched it in S1. All of this is just trying to rationalize the dislikes of a small number of people to S3 into some reflection in the health of the game.
