Also alot of people do private sessions right now, you dont see them a whole lot because everyone is trying to keep any advantage in tournaments they can. When you go to a offline event you see that alot.

Are the same. Hands down with no debate people would prf fresh and totally new characters.
Let’s hope the last character is ALL new. That would be totally refreshing.

Shadow Lords didn’t feed my lore needs the stories to me we’re super genetic and kinda meh
I guess it’s tough for devs to please everyone when some of the demographic may favor lore and some gameplay … that’s tough

haha street fighters LORE is amazing! the story mode might be trash but all the comics films and stuff just make it more interesting.
even the dumb endings add something..
but with ki its all very MEH! why dont they let the hardcore fans service the game? wed do all this free and do a MUCH better job

On a more serious note, Combo Breaker 2017 has more KI entrants than in 2016. Although tournament players aren’t the same as casual players, I would say that is a good sign for the game. After four years, to me that means more people are moving up from casual to competitive. That means people want to play the game and still are.

I don’t know what kind of evidence people need that the community is growing.
The devs are reporting that the player base is growing.
New faces are coming to the forums every once in a while.
Tournament entrants are increasing.
It’s facts…FACTS…like this that allow me to disregard any sort of negativity that the game gets from this sort of support. “Stream numbers are down, therefore the game sucks,” etc.
