For me there isnt enough of orchid as a spy inside ultra tech. Id have liked to see much more of that rather than her endless training lol. We know orchid is supreme we didnt need the endless examples of how she got there.

That went on for a country mile. I’m not really hung up on the game’s lore so I won’t try to critique the story. But it’s worth pointing out that this has been the “richest” story so far in terms of threads that might link to unannounced characters. We’ve got the Carpathian mountain hideout for Orchid’s disavowed, recruiting former soviet operatives. It’s not going too far out on a limb to suggest that might refer to Tusk reimagined as a survivalist/commando type. This has been hinted at by Adam in the past (so don’t shoot the messenger!). Also a potential link to a vampire. What is Maya doing over there if not monster hunting for vampires. They’ve also left the door pretty wide open for a return of Orchid and Jago’s father.
Just as an aside, for those of you wondering about Jago’s ethnicity - there are quite a few different ethnic groups in Pakistan (i.e. Lots) and they don’t say much about his mom other than that she is from Pakistan. Personally, I’m happy to see them leave this vague. I don’t need a socio-ethno-culturally accurate depiction of each character…
Actually, we don’t even know that. All that was said was that she was in Pakistan for the purpose of “foreign aid,” and that she couldn’t pronounce the name “Jacob.”
Awsome story.Orchid is my favorite character.I hope the in game effects change with season 3.Example the wall fire move she has in game, can be turned into a 5 hit up claw roar of a tiger or something.The in game effects should really reflect the excitement of the story.
Yeah, I know International Aid Workers travel from different places to help a cause. She could’ve very well been Asian, just a smirk remark to grasp someones attention.
Really awesome backstory. Makes me even more sad that I didn’t like Sadira’s…it’s literally the only one of these I haven’t enjoyed

I have to say, that even though it was long. It was a captivating read. I do agree that there does seem to be a lot of potential new characters hinted in this. It was also interesting that Orchid was responsible for Eagle being involved in the first KI tourney. Though it seems like they left out Orchid confronting Thunder and letting him know that Eagle was still alive from one of her or Thunders Season 1 endings. I can’t remember which. Over all, I enjoyed it.
That is because of those groups mentioned, the Seals are considered the most elite of them all. Their training regiment is much hard than the others.

I have to say that although I am guessing Spinal’s back story will be good…I am really hyped about Fulgore’s in about 2 weeks. Then I wonder if they will do Shadow Jago prior to TJ since Shago was technically before TJ. ALSO…maybe his back story drops with news of Shago’s new move set. Fulgore’s story should come out the 30th of November, which would put that Shago back story if it comes out prior to TJ the first Monday of December. And they said Shago would be available before the end of the year, seems like good timing to me.

So, just to be clear, I wouldn’t try to speak for any of the devs or put words in their mouth. To the best of my recollection (which is always questionable) the discussion was around how you deal with Tusk without Time travel - which was not a direction they wanted to take the current game. The suggestion was that he could be a survivalist type or commando who used a bladed weapon. It was all very hypothetical and conversational. The connection to Eastern European special forces is mine and may be completely wrong. But it is at least plausible.
Discuss tusk and fulgore and shadow jago in their respective threads.

There needs to be confirmation of any new full costumes, not just halloween masks

I admit, Fulgore and Shadow Jago was off topic, but they way @BigBadAndy brought up Tusk was very much on topic as it had to deal with Orchids story line and just a theory. I didn’t know that mentioning other characters was against the rules of the forum. My Bad.
Don’t worry about it. Since many stories are intertwined, it’s normal that other characters come up in the discussion. 
Definitely one of the more convoluted backstories. The whole long lost sibling element puts you into a weird corner and the firecat origin is kinda lame. Meh.
I actually love that Orchid has some Firestarter/Carrie type thing going on.
