On topic what’s your opinion on what Orchiid’s new gameplay mechanics? personally I can’t see invisibility being practical in a fighting game. It’s always usually a double edge sword.

To be honest i feel the grenade is a little much i do win alot wih grenade setups and launching firecats and slide AND FLIK FLAK…
I would have loved the electric Baton lasaken, flik flak and slide/ air buster, and leave the grenade and call it a nice day.
All the extra about ’ her training and her previous SWD’ stuff with NO CONNECTION to a proper spy outfit or hairstyle options is shallow but thats my opinion.
I don’t think it would be invisibility only because if there was any current character that would fit best with an invisibility aspect it would be Fulgore. Because when he enters the game, he has a predator like cloak that goes off to start the fight. As far as a teleport, I don’t think she would have that either. I don’t see how she would have a deadpool like teleport device on her. Maybe she might lay some type of trap or something like that. Maybe a smoke cloud effect like Batgirl or maybe even a doppelganger like effect where you don’t know which is the real orchid. Though I don’t think any of those would be it either. I think probably something to do with the firecat getting another ability or being able to control which direction it came from might be plausible. Honestly, I have no idea, they really didn’t leave much in a way of a hint for that one.

No body said she was getting a cloak, what made you think that? kinda jumping the gun much?..
Not cloak per say, think smoke screen. To hide her actions or location. She could probably do a Scorpion-ish style teleport, where she disappears in a cloud of smoke and “fire cat” tackles the opponent from behind.
Orchid has been one of my favorite KI characters since 1994, so I was interested to see how her backstory would be written.
I never imagined her as being angry or psychotic; determined and head-strong yes. Personally, I liked how she was more “mysterious” in KI1 and KI2. You knew little of her other than she worked for an agency and was bent on toppling Ultratech. It was awesome when in KI2 it was revealed she’s Jago’s older sister.
Now with the revelation of Eagle joining Orchid’s crusade, is that why she was spared in Fulgore’s first ending? He “remembers” Orchid and the fight against Ultratech?
I think it’s interesting that she can summon a Fire Cat that looks like a tiger and Jago was visited by the Tiger Spirit albeit Gargos masquerading as the spirit. Does that mean because they are siblings, they both are infused with the power of the Tiger Spirit?
Ochid’s third ending speaks volumes of her and Jago’s relationship and echos what MK X states very obviously: There is no force stronger than the power of family.

This would mean that they would have had to get it from their father since he’s the only common link to them both. Which would mean he also had the Tiger Spirit.
Crazy thought, Orchid and Jago’s dad could be introduced as a zombie character, revived by Ultratech because of his skills, his ability with the Tiger Spirit and the connection with his children. I think that would be interesting as long as he isn’t a Jago clone. Could rope in Kan-Ra to the storyline looking for a cure for his condition from the sorcerer that has lived for thousands of years.

Maybe Joanna Dark is a sponsor or as the new backstory suggests, the Disavowed must keep a low profile with no bank account information. But a wide open wall where all the money could blow out seems kinda risky.
