Because Halo fans are hella obsessive over their canon. Hence why itās generic Spartan in Dead or Alive instead of Master Chief and why this is generic Arbiter. From the KI side of things though nobody cares.

I guess it would be like if they included a ninja turtle and it was that silly female one with the light blue headband from that underwhelming life action tv show, instead of Raphael, Donatello, Michaelangelo or Leonardo.
That said, they gave Arbiter here enough custimisation options to avoid that problem if you ask me, too bad about the voice actor, but this voice is close enough

Maybe this also means gone are the days of accessories like arbiter clown nose and spatula energy sword and chef hat
Hi there, glad to see that the Halo/KI fan crossover is actually a reality. However, Iām surprised that thereās been no word of the classic energy sword having a sound swap as well, considering the sounds are different. It would be good, as a player with no vision, to have something different that can allow me and others who have no or limited vision to have a more entertaining experience with Arbiter (maybe different armour sounds etc as well).
All in all though, very interesting post. Glad you put extra information on the different armour types rather than just a bunch of images.
Hopefully see you on exhibition/ranked in S3 wielding that energy sword.

Indeed so, the Ascetic was my all time favorite. When I was playing an infection game with some friends, one of my buddies was a zombie along with me and we camped outside of the human spawns and he scoped at my face. The map had filters on it sand he told me that I looked very intimidating.

I guess so, hopefully they give us some color variants but thatās not goanna happen.
And by that, I mean the retro having color variants.

No, they arenāt skins just accessories. Old characters have the same amount of accessories. They just suck so it feels like they have less.

Wow! Great article! All those great Arby accessories! I donāt think there is a single bad piece there!
I hope you will share some info on the other half of this great crossover on the 18th, I canāt wait to see what the Halo team has planned for this crossover.
Update: unfortunately, according to my sources within the dev team for KI, thereās no way to attach different sounds to different accessories because of the way the engine works. So no classic energy sword or anything else different, which makes me personally rather disappointed as itāll make the grind for unlockables, again, worth virtually none of my time (thus far, unless they add audio-based unlocks as well).
Me and @RGLOfficial were saying itād be a good idea to have the sounds change if that were possible and itās a shame that wonāt be able to happen without modding the PC version (if weāre even able to do that at all, which we still donāt know for certain).
