It’s really great that you’re able to do what you do, man. But at some point I really don’t know that they’re going to be able to make everything 100% equal for someone without sight, though it sounds like they’re doing a lot to make the game accessible where they can.

Considering the unlocks already in the game are all visual things, I just don’t think you can be surprised that its “worth virtually none of [your] time,” right?

Whilst you make your point well, you forget that not all the unlocks are necessarily visual (think announcers for example). Whilst the devs have put in work to make the game more accessible, there is still a lot that could be done to make things less stressful, as I’ve discussed before in other posts/topics. I understand (after talking with Adam) that the reason Shadow Jago worked as he did wasn’t necessarily because he was a jago re-skin, but because they treated him as his own separate character, thus giving the ability to put different audio to him (at least in his voice if nothing else).

With the point about visual unlocks, I can see why you’d think I shouldn’t be surprised. But the reason I am is because I think it’s pretty shocking that in 2016 you can’t just tell the game that (in pseudocode if a player is using the classic energy sword, load the sounds from this separate file rather than the normal one and so on for maybe even different voice skins etc. That, in my view at least, shouldn’t be that hard to accomplish.

But back on topic, I look forward to playing Arbiter day 1, energy sword sound switch or no.

The article actually mentioned this armor. Apparently one of the color options for the default costume (Halo 5 arbiter) calls back to this.
