Haha fair enough . That controller was a little odd . But I just mean more or less like how n64 was on par with PlayStation as far as graphics back then . At lest for a while it was. As much as I love the wii and wii u , I just reeeeally think that they shouldn’t make another underpowered console .
Still, the N64 had Ocarina of Time and in my opinion the best mario kart, before they went all weird with the karts and the busy tracks. Didnt it also had the firdt smash?
I like how the new controller looks. If it had one or two physical buttons in the front I wouldn’t mind it.
Will I get one? No. I don’t think even with a new console Nintendo will regain third parties after the first year like the WiiU.
That being said. I liked Fable Legends but the combat sucked. It was very grindy. The character design was the best and I will always love Winter.
And Fable Legends is mencionated here because…?

Who me? I mentioned it because the op was talking about Fable Legends. It had potential if they just straight up copied Left 4 Dead and actually let you play as the creatures and made the combat less grindy.

The whole graphicstyle of most games on that console looks like a mess. Big, bland, blurry textures.
If I had the console as a kid(N64 was the only one I never owned) my views might be different, but maybe not, as I still played lots of games back then on that system.
The first smash was on N64 yes.
My fav Mario Kart is MK8.
Best Zelda, either Link to the past/link between worlds or Wind waker.

Due to the graphicstyle I think WW even looks better than twilight princess. Heck even skyward sword.
its a nostalgia thing too for a large part, but Oot was a gamechanger for the series but also for 3D open world adventure games and to this day may still be my number one game off all time, because of the feeling when I first played it.
Yeah I mean a lot of the n64 games were ugly , but there were also a ton of very ugly psone games . Seeing Mario 64, wave race 64, KI gold, Mario kart 64 and early n64 games as a young kid was mind blowing; but yes you’re right , as that gen went on ps1 had much better looking graphics.
N64 had this memory upgrade pack you could buy, made perfect dark a little prettier…but it also made games like my international superstar soccer game run really bad even though it looked sharper…
N64 games are graphically much more appealing than PSone games. The early implementation of anti aliasing worked better for some things than others but it was a far more powerful machine than the Playstation.
None of the early 3D games hold up all that well to the modern eye.
i am awaiting to see what nintendo is offering with the NX i really get excited or angry about it. they’ve been extremely secretive about it, i hope its because it has some really exciting features on it and more strength than the U. i also hope that it brings something to the table that will make me go “holy ■■■■, i want it now”. not keeping my hopes up on that one though. nintendo imo has been pretty disconnected from everybody as of late and they just keep doin whatever they want. where the hell is F-Zero? where is Metroid? im tired of all the marios and zeldas. that is all i got for now. hopefully we get some kinda reveal in the near future
