Someone told him the driver was coming, he shared that information. You’re just making yourself seem juvenile. No one is more fed up than me with MS, but you lie more in your posts than Rukari ever did. MS has never lied about the fightstick in any way. Just because you can’t read (or write) in English and make naive purchasing decisions doesn’t mean that people lie to you. MS not saying the stick DOESNT work on PC is not lying to you. They didn’t say it DOESNT work on PS4, and the didn’t say it DOESNT make wishes come true. That’s not lying even though it doesn’t do those things. You’re just making a fool of yourself.

The lie of @rukizzel just showed the plan of Microsoft to lock the fighstick behind Xbox App and to force compagny to add the code natively into the game or else the stick will not be usable.
That information alone should have been clear and should be made clear to anyone buying a XboxOne Fighstick.
Anyone is in right to assume that the product they buy will work as any other product of the kind.
What a truly epic failure, how many months has it been and no D input support for PC/PS3 fightsticks for KI?
Yet one of the biggest failure PC ports MKX has Dinput and Xinput support infact MKX actually supports PS4 controllers on PC aswell.
Infact you could have gotten PS4 controller to work fine with bluetooth when there was no xbox one wireless controller support for PC which was quite shocking.
As for whether the discussion about fightstick drivers was a lie, I think it’s important to consider the fact that an announcement was made when someone on MS’ tech team gave an expected availability date for the drivers, only for a problem/decision to push that back to happen after the fact.
That kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME at my job for a small software company, and I assume that kind of situation is magnified, not decreased, as the size and spread of the company grows.
Again, you’re not considering the idea that it’s common for something which worked in the development environment to have unforeseen problems once it’s released “into the wild.” Again, happens constantly at my company.
It’s also possible that he was given incorrect or incomplete information from the tech team at the time when he made the announcement.
It’s irresponsible to jump to the conclusion that Rukari as an individual was actively lying to or deceiving anybody.

I didn said Rukari was a compulsive liar tho, just said that this one time he lied, he really didn knew what he was talkin about and created more expectation than he though.

Besides which, the driver isn’t “locked behind the Xbox app.” It requires the games to insert code to recognize the stick. If it was just locked behind the Xbox App it would be working with KI.

The reason why I says it’s locked behind Xbox App is because it’s still listed under Unknown Device and the only thing as of right now who can work with the new driver is the Xbox App.

The real question is, will the fighstick work only with XboxApp game ?
Will it only work on game that will add the support natively ?
Or are the driver still broken and not working as intented ?
BTW, I had an idea of "Hey, if it works with the Xbox App, maybe you can use it for streaming KI from the XB1, but no…no…it won’t recognize it as a controller. Balls.
