Honestly, you can get an x1 to PS3 super converter and an x1-360 and be pretty much all set for about $70. That’s less than the board and there’s no rewiring.
Some people want to buy a stick off the shelf and just use it. Some people want to open it up and remake the whole thing. And the whole range in between.
So we’re really at that point where the best way to get a MS licensed product to work on a MS licensed operating system (that prides itself on full integration with said MS licensed product) is to buy fairly expensive 3rd party solutions which could involve modding the stick itself, huh?
And most of us seem to see the absolute insanity in this, but not all?

U mean X1 to PS4. But what u mean with the X1-360? A converter to converte X1 controller to 360 controller? Those dont exist (at least Brook doesnt have it) and even if existed, are u saying i would need both? I think its only needed the X1 to PS4, so the PC will recognize it as a PS4 stick. Or am i missing something?
PS3 sticks will work on Ps4. So you don’t need to convert to PS4, since a PS3 stick will work on PS3 and PS4. But I don’t think a Ps stick of any kind will work on PC. You need a 360 stick (or an Xbox One standard controller) to play KI on PC. You’re right though, there is no Xbox one to 360 converter. Instead I would get an Xbox 360/XboxOne to Xbox One converter (black) because that will make your PC recognize the stick as a standard Xbox one controller - which will have more functionality and work with pretty much everything.

Cheapest tourny legal method is brooks xb1 to ps4 converter most ps3 are pain in ■■■ to get working on pc same as ps3 sticks
Plus brooks converters add lag the brooks board is fastest pcb on market
You coukd also buy the brooks breakout board for ps3 ps4 from paradise arcade for 50 bucks and don’t even need a new harness or ezmod once u take out the original pcb

Brooks converters add less than a frame of latency. About 0.7 frames. People aren’t going to notice, especially for KI. Considering the native lag is already about 4-5 frames, even a good TV adds another frame or two, etc.
True the hfcp4 oad hacks about same as a brooks converter but sodder required pretty easy with the srk forums and the detailed write ups im sure a phone repair shop could do it cheap. But yeah if you got questions hit me up
I’m not sure about Brooks stuff because I haven’t used any, but on a cronusmax if you set the output to force to 360 they work just fine. Cronusmax though isn’t very user-friendly, and their forums aren’t much better…most of their support consists of pretentious moderators telling you what you’re asking about has already been posted X,000 number of times before, and if you’re not willing or able to pour over the hundreds of threads they made to troubleshoot/code it yourself you don’t deserve their help.

They lied to us about the driver many time we paid an item that is suppose to work out of box and 2 years later the only thing you can find is some attention ■■■■■ who think he’s the only one able to search on google ?

I don’t think that would work. After all, it does work with games programmed to use it. So the fightsticks are working as intended, even if we don’t like…er…loathe its intent.
If anyone I would think Madcatz & other stick designers might have a case to complain if using this ■■■-backwards pcb in their sticks is hurting sales. But honestly I really think all it’s doing is driving the majority of the FGC to the PS4.

You can’t play KI on PC with a Microsoft Xbox One Fightstick right now and alot of game can’t be played on the xbox one itself with an xbox one fightstick like come on .
Xbox one produced a TE2 only to play with killer instinc xbox one version and game that care to add the code to support it natively .
Madcatz must be proud of this one and the Killer instinc team should be ashamed right now for the lie from the community manager .
They should apologyze big time instead we got a*** l**** all over the place sayin to everyon go buy an xbox 360 stick .

So I ended up reinstalling the old Xbox One controller driver in order to use the Razer Atrox on the PC, rewired the buttons again and now the whole process has screwed up my Elite controller.
At first the Xbox Accessories app couldn’t find the controller, then after I solved that issue a new one popped up where the controller isn’t recognised by the PC or Xbox Wireless Adapter unless I plug it in via USB.
Talk about a complete and utter muck-up, Microsoft…
Madcatz were given the pcbs by microsoft its not there fault. End day both websites say do not support pc atleast razers does. Should have researched these sticks before buying.
To anyone whose willing to use a solution i advise the converters
Why should the xbox one fight stick be any differant then any stick on the market.
Look i know you need attention but at the end of the day if you bought a KI TE2 or x1 razor at lunch you got lied and cheated by both compagny madcatz/razer and microsoft ( Killer instinc team tho ) .
When i spent 230$ on a stick i didn said to myself ho look i should wait 1 year or 2 to see if he’s like every other stick .
I trusted the Killer instinc brand , i trusted microsoft to develop a product that is fully working WITH MICROSOFT PRODUCT and i trusted madcatz to do a stick that is the same stick that ANY OTHER MADCATZ STICK .
Now we know you got plenty of solution but none who can explain a customer spending 200$ on a product that is not working properly .
It said on razers website not compatible with pc when i pre ordered. It is ms fault like i said the triggers are the cause of the issue its not the same as the triggers are on 360s.

It’s like you’re thick-headed, I never bought the Razer Atrox Xbox One.
I originally owned a Razer Atrox for Xbox 360, it malfunctioned and I RMA’d it. Razer were unable to replace it due to not having any in stock and sent me the Xbox One version as an alternative. If I wanted a converter I would have done it ages ago, please stop pushing your agendas I’m not interested.
All im saying is within a week of both the xb1 te2 and atrox everyone was reporting issues with it on pc and razer even stated does not work with pc
Markman main from madcatz fightstick department went into details why xb1 sticks didnt work on pc and if its to be fixed it is on ms
Something about the pcb and the way rt lt the buttons that dont work were different then the pcb on 360 models.
Thats the issue and im going to say theres under 3000 xbox one fight sticks in existence were a small niche ms will get around to it.
Till then you let it sit and be pissed of you wasted 200 bucks or you spend 35 to get it to work and re sell that once it’s sorted
