My experience has been completely different. I set those parameters and they basically mean nothing. Also, the input delay is still bad on it even when the connections are good. This video shows it.
When was the last time you played? Steps have been made to tighten up the netcode. They admittedly have work to do, and I doubt it will ever be GGPO or KI quality, but I went from nearly asking for a refund to regularly getting games with nigh 0 issues.
And Iām certainly not defending their issues (that one player gets all of the lag is just asinine), but Iām curious how much of that video is still pertinent with the work that has been done. Though truth be told, I have zero idea how things are now, I have barely played it. I have been playing KI a bit since it came out, and with the Steam launch of Melty, I havenāt touched SFV in quite a while.
I just know that my online experience has been pretty damn decent after what was a super rocky start.
U got any evidence or source of forum post I usually only see hate in chats which is what u should expect who cares what other community thinks most ppl just want attention honestly I hate everything about sf and the characters but I donāt go making posts about it on here or in twitch itās just corny

In France, Street Fighter is outrageously popular.
At the contrary, KI is very unpopularā¦ In the bad way.
On some video game forums, it is almost impossible to talk about KI and make understand people that KI is a great game.
The Street Fighter and Japane influences are so strong, that there is no āplaceā for US VSF games.
The hate about KI is real sometimes.

All I am gonna say about SFV is it ABSOLUTELY is NOT worth 60 dollars.

All I can say is that SF5 is worth like 60 bucks with only 40% of the content of the game.
I just spent 10 bucks on KI and Iām having a blast, online, offline, ranked, survival, you name it.
And above all the freedom to pay for the content you wish to pay for, and an awesome PC port with a nice netcode that allows me to play cross platform with almost no lag issues at all.
Not to derail the thread too much but is it bad that the latest SF Iāve gotten into a couple of days ago is Third Strike?

No way - 3rd Strike is really fun. I play on Fightcade from time to time.
Ahhhh good to know. If you ever run across my GT on Fightcade it is the same as my name on here. Although Iām pretty free skill wise at the moment.

Yep same GT here as well. Iām only good enough to take some games now and then. I play Makoto mostly.

Yo, just got Fightcade as well! But Iām having problems with the ROM working. Iāll fix it, so I can play Ryu and Q again.

I also played 3rd Strike until KI arrived. I mained Alex and Ryu, and started learning Oro, but KI arrived and, wellā¦
