Why is Vortex's strength completely ambiguous?

Only the second trailblazer can go in any of the 8 directions.

Can the second one always go any direction? I assume the same is true for the third in INSX? So the trick, then, is to take note of the first and hope for a second instead of a manual? Or is Blazer reactable in a juggle?

To break Cinder, watch the strength of his first trailblazer. Up is light, horizontal is medium, down is heavy (much less common). Then, break the second (or third) afterburner using this strength, regardless of what direction he goes. There is no mixup possible on the 2nd or 3rd trailblazer, the breaker strength is locked in by this point.

If TJ’s vortex juggles had a super huge tell, no TJ player would ever use these in juggles because you have like 2 seconds to break it. It’s probably for the best that they have limited tells.
