I think the sword was actually a laser beam sword like star-wars. It only glowed green when Jago swung it, it basically emitted alot of power.

Point of Order: It’s just a name. It’s really a “blade” made of super heated plasma contained within a magnetic field and focused through special crystals.
He needs a blade made of pure shadow energy the looks like it’s made of Omen, sorta like a Soul Edge.
