We support the fourth season and the future of KI!

I explained that already, what your describing is exactly how I play it, I’m no pro, nor am I near that level yet, I was speaking on a specific experience I had in a lobby, and trust me they are not what we are

But that’s not what we were talking about. We talked about if KI NEEDED guest characters. MS wanting them in the game to attract a wider audience isn’t a need, but something they wanted.

I wouldn’t mind if Season 4 just deletes Retro Sabrewulf

But seriously, “Season 4” would be great. I’d imagine it would be only 3-4 characters, and a map or two. Lots of polish and balancing. And tonnes and tonnes of colours/skins/re-textures and accessory’s. Please take my $$$.

What do you call shadow Orchid? Shorkid?

Lol Kim Wu quote ftw

If this game only gave us what we needed then I wouldn’t play this game. I got no issue with guest characters. Sometimes I want to take a break from the story of KI and play with my favorite battletoad of stabppl with my favorite gears boss.

I am not the one who said KI needed guest characters. And that was my point. That no… it didn’t need guest characters. They are just an extra bonus to those who wanted them.

I am just not one of them.

@anon39655210 To clarify things, if the only reason season 3 has happened is because of the inclusion of guest, would you have preferred to have the game stay at season 2 for forever?

Meaning no Kim-Wu, Tusk, Mira, Gargos and Eyedol. Because that basically how people see your stance on a possible season 4. You would have rather missed new KI characters (and returning favorites) this growing the game because excluding guests is more important to you than getting new and returning characters with the caveat of perhaps a few guests tossed in.

Which is a thing difficult for people to understand.
I like most other people rather see the game (and fame) of KI grow if it means a few guests than perhaps be stuck again for the next few (20?) years without something new.

I would have wanted these to return. But I am allowed not to have wanted the guest characters.

But what if the next season gave us the 6 most awesome KI characters yet, but also Joanna Dark and …

Wouldnt you accept it as necesarry evil if that was the only way we would get those characters?

I guess thats what everyone is saying…

Not really, no. I am glad we had the remaining characters return, but I would rather just have those and then no more in S3. And now with all the past character returned, there is nothing that would redeem S4 should there be guest characters.

I think ppl have an issue with this thought process right here haha but to each his own.

Ok, thanks for being so clear and taking the time to answer, I (and probably a lot of others) might not share your opinion, but its yours to have. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
In the end though, neither one of us will most likely have any say in it, so its a moot point anyway.

Have a good day sir

Like I’ve said before, I am glad that there are people who do enjoy the guest characters. I was just personally very disappointed to see them in Season 3.

If there is a season 4, I don’t want them to do a complete UI color change without leaving an option to use the old one. I love the purple and green.

I don’t think there will be a UI change. One would notice that there’s enough space on the character selection screen to add a season of characters. Also the green smoke covering the character is an none issue because they’ll be covered by icons anyway.

I’m just ready to give Iron Galaxy more of my money for creative characters. Really hope Lovecratian is a thing.

I’ll keep supporting the game. My favorite fighter ever. Even with it’s shortcomings.

I used to love street fighter, but the game his has gotten too weird. I’ve become a bigger KI fan

KI just has more interactivity. The mental game of the combo breaker is next level s***. If only KI was given the same level of support so that it could be polished more, that would be awesome. And they have my money if that’s what it takes.

I hope that the new characters they produce (if they produce some) are creative AND simpler than some of the stuff going on in Season 3. I can appreciate character/matchup knowledge being important, but KI has so many “traits” and things going on that it can discourage new players. Season 1 had the best balance in terms of complexity and simplicity, IMO.
