Yeh, I like your Gargos theory. Wulf will probably get an ultimate if only to give the ranked players getting far too many wins with him something better to do.

Some of us can’t, even though we want to… 
Why is that? is the reason playing the free version of K.I.?.
There’s a bug right now that crashes the game every time I try to play SL. There’s a work-around, but it requires removing any of your friends that appear on the leaderboards, which for me is not an option. According to the devs, a true fix will supposedly come in March.
I was holding off on Kilgore because I felt Ki started to go the nickel and dime way and decided to vote with my wallet fighting every instinct to give in.
After reading the article and saw that Ultimates are free, now I will gladly support and purchase Kilgore.

well the way I see it: if you download the Ultimate, it will be available for those characters, even the ones you don’t own, not that it matters because let’s be honest here, If you don’t own the character, you can’t do the Ultimates anyway.
Thunder’s ultimate is pretty ■■■■ awesome.

What? is that still happening? I thought they fixed it long ago, that’s a top priority issue to fix, Iron Galaxy! fix that already, c’mon, what comes first comes first.
@VladKravich if people don’t like recycled animations that’s their prerogative. I prefer to look at the final result and frankly, I think Thunders is better than Jaglo’s or Shago’s. I think Jaglo’s new animations look a little puppet-like.
But I guess my biggest problem with @RGLOfficial’s tweets is that it’s completely disproportionate rage and a sense of entitlement that has no basis in reality. “No one should have to lower their expectations… IG should just do it.” Whatever kid. Call me back when you’re king of the world and/or you’re bankrolling the project.
This thread has followed the classic pattern for the forums - a ton of people see the ultimate, drop in to say “wow that’s awesome,” and then leave. A much smaller group of people show up to complain, mostly about what they aren’t getting and then stick around posting over and over because somehow the internet has convinced everyone that this is the way to be. Making a casual reader think somehow the response to the Ultimates is very negative when in fact it is overwhelmingly positive.

So, not that the cat’s out of the bag I have to ask, @rukizzel @TheKeits in the first jago ultimate reveal stream there was speculation that the 4 wins Jago had and the timer stuck on 99 refered to the price of the ultimates ($4.99). Obviously since they’re free, that’s not the case, but was there any meaning behind the # of wins?

I don’t think those have any meaning. They were trying to get 4 attempts to nail the ultimate, and trhey kept the time at 99 to make sure that the match didn’t end

Oh no! This is kinda underwhelming not being certain about the future of ultimates for the ramaining characters. Its gonna take more than 3 months to get those 15 then…
Please support this game. Buy Kilgore and the other 2 upcoming characters so the goal of having the cinematic finishers for everyone may become a reality.
Btw, It would be ok to pay for the rest of the other ultimates like 5 bucks for the “last” 3 ultimate packs.
That only means hers is going to be more epic and takes more time.
As with her taunt, ultra ender, win animation, and theme, it really will be the best of all of the game.

I agree, @GalacticGeek , dude you’re sending mixed messages. Just because you play with the guy doesn’t mean you have to agree with him. Awhile ago you were a self confessed, hard fighting man for KI, so what’s going on here?

For a moment there you really got me thinking you were going the way of Capcom and Netherrealm, all greedy and such. Thank goodness you didn’t.
As for the Ultimates themselves, they kinda fit my expectations - nothing too violent, nothing particularly spectacular, but a nice way to end the match differently and add more personality to each character.
Like Jago’s, I think Thunder’s ultimate lacks some of the corny panache that was present in the original KI. No one wants a gorefest a la MK - that’s their turf - but I would really love to see something more nonsensical like the original Thunder ultimate, where something different would fall after he landed his tomahawk uppercut (Sabrewulf came down as a giant can of dog food and I always found that hilarious in a ‘WTF’ way).
On the other hand, I really like the new animations given to these characters (both the attacker and the victim) during Ultimates - like Thunder staring down on his opponent and the opponent’s reaction before being headbutted. The resulting combinations should prove quite amusing; I wonder how Thunder will stare down at Aganos or Eyedol before headbutting them 
Side note: have you been polishing the character models? They seem a bit more… plastic (and I mean this in a good way).
