Exactly. Think about it,does anyone really use Shago’s instinct besides anihilation? The only reason they would not use annihilation is if they can’t land it. I am pretty sure no one really wants this for everyone.

well then. Just give everyone an ultimate. Exchange annihilation into no mercy finishers (if somehow it can be possible). In my mild thoughts, annihilation could be the new no mercy of the game. Just like MKX did with brutalities. They’ve changed it into something new. If they deconfirm ultimates for season 3 i guess we gonna feel like this..
One point overlooked on all Ultimate begging thread.
Shadow Jago is limited to fund raised players and sporadically sells, you guys are expecting IG to treat a fund raised DLC as a final feature to be included to all S1&2, forgetting the S3’s new chars will need to have it too.
Also, the fund raise money just could do what it did to SJ, the quality for all ~27 chars will be diluted, this will be a foot shoot (remember ARIA stage Ultra).
I won’t dabble here again over on why Ultimates are bad idea, you all already know (or act like it you dont’).
I disagree and here is why:
It isn’t simply fund-raised it was a feature that was teased with us as a final boss for shago when DH was working on the game, but Amazon bought them out before season2 could become a thing. If anything we were more or less denied this in season2 and IG couldn’t even get it to work at first. So if anything they have been trying before in the past and Until Aria showed up it was hard to pull it off.
So no this featue isn’t some “silly little thing” that occurred because of fund-raising it was a feature that was intended to be placed in till the old-team got bought out.
People were wanting Ultimates since season1 it won’t make the characters quality to be diluted. Really you’re worried about a finishing move that if you were unable to get your opponent’s life in red you’d only ave to sit through 3 seconds of a cinimatic and it’s over. Considering you sitting through a long triple Ultra is a hell of alot worse.
The difference between the two is you don’t have to worry about Ultimates hitting you if you get their life in red. I on the other hand have to sit through it if they manage to get my life down first with no serious requirements.
Ultimates don’t have to be drawn out like MK fatalities, they can be quick, to the point and brutal.
Ultimates has been wanted since season 1 like my brother said. Besides, what could you possibly offer sicne you claim to know whats good for the game.
If you want to spend minutes of doing a triple ultra and not have other options to finish off a foe, that’s fine but be ready to deal with your opponent rage quitting.
People can get were your coming form but unless they agree with you, they are never goanna stop talking about them. You may have a voice but its not any higher than anyone else’s. We (ones who want ultimates) think all characters should have ultimates including Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3.
shadow characters don’t contribute much to the rosters diversity as Shadow Jago (as cool as he is) is a model swap with some gameplay change that made him real.
I personally prefer this dark gritty KI to stay the way it is. When I played the original I actually couldve done without the goofiness back then as well. I would like Ultimates to be available to everyone, and if it was up to me, as violent as possible w/out going rated M since that’s where they wanna keep it. I mean even with the boob flashing and gattling-gun annihilating finishers, the original kept it’s T rating. So there’s no reason this one can’t accomplish the same

Finally, someone who also understands that ultimates don’t NEED to involve dismembering someone and instead could be done with more creativity.
This…so much this. People who oppose ultimates for all assume that its going to boost the rating but it won’t. you could just have someone get frozen and then blown to chunks of ice, no guts, no blood. Just someone being turned into an ice statue. Heck why not set them on fire but not have them get turned to bones. Just blacken the model.
and HEY!! while were at it, why not have Riptor shake someone and break bones as a result. No blood, no dismemberment. just a broken body.
Not only would this give variety to ending a match, but it would also be a lot shorter and straight to the point then a triple ultra.
