So at the beginning of Tusk’s trailer, if you listen closely to the chanting and the strings you can hear what I’m pretty sure will be his idle theme…
By that, I mean his classic theme.
I need this character to come out ASAP, and I need his music to come out even sooner than ASAP.
One of the best trailers I have ever seen in any game, let a lone in Killer Instinct.

Does anyone know name of Tusk’s sword. They say it in the trailer, but I can’t hear it properly.

Well it’s nice to see that Tusk looks a bit more like Tusk in the trailer. Hopefully they give him an upper lip before release.
His voice work was well performed.
I have to shrug about his story. I think there were better directions they could have gone with it but that’s minor.
Looks like I’m in the minority with not liking his music. I like the choir of deep voices, but it’s just awful when paired with that horrendous butt metal. Non-electric instruments and horns would have been much better IMO. Still, it’s not as bad as some.
His stage was well done but I still see it as one of the most boring. I might like it more if there’s a stage Ultra, but some place green, grassy and wooded with some cliff faces would have been amazing. The popularity of Aganos’ stage should be a good indication of how much people like beautiful green stages. I don’t think Vikings were renowned for living in icy, monochromatic wastelands. But his old story says that’s where Tusk is from. One random detail which they chose to stay faithful to.
For the first time ever, IMO, IG did not knock a character out of the park… Except for his gameplay. It looks really fitting for the character, and it looks really fun. I’ve been wanting to main him since 2013. I’ll not be deterred by a missing upper lip, vague story, bad music and copied stage.
I am surprised nobody has brought up the fact that there are other viking ships in the backround firing at the stage. Brings up some questions like. Is Tusk the only viking that gained immortality? Or is that Spinal commanding the ship because he resurected some dead vikings to move the ship? So many questions.

My favorite explanation is that someone turned to someone else and said “you know what would look badass in this stage?” But then I’m not a person who takes the story all that seriously.

Ok. I was quite disapointed by the vids we saw earliers this week, so i was worrying about this streeam.
Kind of mixed feelings here :
What I don’t like:
- bland personality : this immortal washed out man is dumb as hell, original barbarian gimmick just work why do you want to change what it isn’t broken
- from a visual point, character seems “not ready” : it’s clear when you see him in front of Arbiter or Rash, and it was clear to when I see him in hisako’stage.
- His face, god, change it, you changed Cinder’s face so make something.
- No Dah (bland personality, i said it)
- No backflip : DUMB DECISION OF TE 3SEASONS. Well done IG.
Still, there is some thing to like 
- Gameplay is COOL. I want to play him more than Arbiter.
- Stage and music are much cooler than i tought. Music specially make me feel more confortable. New composers are doing good.
- Guy have a MOTHER FREAKING SUPLEX. I mean, He plants his sword in the ground, and DOES A SUPLEX. Amazing.
So, my final tought would be we have a very weak version of TUSK, and maybe the first fail of IG in adapting old character, but in the sametimes, he seems fun to play, which is fine.
Tusk says the name of his sword in the trailer. Did anybody catch it? I couldn’t understand
It sounds like “Wargrim” to me. Maybe @TempusChaoti or @rukizzel can give us the name and proper spelling.

He does say Dah. It’s his shoulder bash. Which can be used multiple times in a combo
The “DAH!” isn’t as prevalent as it was in KI2. But neither are Orchid’s “KYAH!” or Jago’s “REOWR!”.
Fulgore lighting looks absolutely fantastic On tusk stage! Kan Ras stage is mind blowing-
They STILL haven’t shown Orchid in two months stage or character
Not a huge thing, but-
Every time a character has a walk through the opponent is JAGO - color one.

im with archon, somEthing about the music is just not hitting hard with the weight mick Gordon’s did- the emotions of Hisako theme and the intensity of the ultra notes seem bland. Its yet another guitar driven electronic programmed theme with a choir- kim wus seemed faithful to her theme, but maybe mick just is that good and we have to accept it. mick woud have had a glorious horn and sweeping epic track with arrangement from the gods.
What happens to the polar bear??? Lol

Tusk is definitely cool. Some of his moves seemed a little clunky but nothing I can really pinpoint right now. I noticed when he threw Hisako his arm swipe looked like a whiff but the throw began (since she is so short). Ah well, that is going to happen when you have characters of such varied size (which is cool). The sword moves are really great. I love the poke at Kotal Kahn with “death comes to all… except me.”
The streams do not do the graphics justice. I have to remember I am watching a pixelated stream/YouTube video. They commented on Hisako’s stage in the new light but I cannot tell anything except for some vibrant colors. Anyway, can’t wait to see it in full glory. That new UI is elusive.
