Watching Maximilian top 5 game openings, I want a KI opening.

Some interesting choices Max made there. Tekken 3 was one of the first that popped in to my head as well. Not sure I would’ve gone with Melee, but he’s certainly entitled to his opinion. :slight_smile:

Just my personal preference, but my top five would be:

  1. Soul Calibur
  2. Tekken 3
  3. Killer Instinct (original)
  4. Mortal Kombat 2
  5. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

I hate to put two of the same series on the list, but MK2 and MK:DA were awesome to me back when I first saw them.

Oh, and as to OP’s point, I’d also really like a KI opening. No doubt.

Soul Calibur 3 has a special place in my heart. I remember being late to school because I just wanted to sit and wait for that intro to finish.

That and Nightmare just exploding still looks AWESOME to this day.
