OK, I’m officially over the 3 stages thing. Our game not only looks and plays better than SFV, but now we have Bearded Tusk!!!

Bearded Ryu, EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!

One thing that is for sure, KI’s stages kill stages in any other fighting game. SFV’s stages haven’t really progressed much past SFIV and they look really paltry by comparison.

Watching how the graphics are better I really can’t wait to see the reworked stages (and maybe characters too?). Plus I’m really curious to see what’s more in store for Season 3!

Now you got me all pumped.

When can we expect the trailer?

J/K

Can’t wait for tusk, I’ve been hanging out since season 1, just make him bigger than thunder and I will be happy!!

That’s why I like the lighting upgrade for the others. They had to do it, because Arbiter and Tusk’s stages are gorgeous!

It helps not being a fan of him in the first place. What we saw of him reminded me a lot of why KI doesn’t look as good as the new fighters. Just looking at his back his skin shines almost as much as Jago used to during his intro cutscene Season 1 where he almost looked radioactive. Not only that but it just looks plain generic.

Again like I said in the beginning, he might look better in his actual trailer but so far I see nothing appealing. His sword doesn’t look special, his skin looks rough, and the back of his hair looks glued together, he doesn’t have any individual strands which makes me believe the same will be true of his beard. I hated Kim Wu’s face and that ruined the character for me. Tusks face hasn’t been revealed but it could potentially save his boring design.

His stage although nice, doesn’t hold the early KI design of being larger than real life. Original KI season 1 stages have things like Krakens, Giant Bells, Exploding reactors, a lot of the new stages and characters just seem to be grounded in reality and share that boring real life feel like TJ, Maya, and now Tusk. Yeah cool there is a Polar Bear in the background, but that’s something I can see in real life. Why couldn’t they created a unique creature that lives in the KI world. This is the last stage and it seems as though non of the stages this season besides the Arbiter’s are on Par to Season or 2.

So far there is nothing in this Season that is grabbing my attention and making it so that I need to have the game day one. Kim’s face is offputting, don’t hold feeling for the Arbiter and think he’s a waste of a guest character, and now Tusk seems to be similar to those other two. I can’t believe am saying this but Rash is the only character that I find appealing in Season 3 so far.

I don’t know, Karin’s stage looks very beautiful and find that stage better than Kim Wu’s and Tusks so far. It’s on par to Arbiter’s in terms of quality but that’s the Halo 5 map design.

I believe he works for MS in Seattle.

Please don’t troll us (again) and make him barely taller than Hisako cuz that would make him a dwarf.

..No offense, guys.

Well, theres a sea monster in Sadira’s stage peeking up in the background if that counts.

The graphics are phenomenal. Did you guys see the reflection in the ice??? The particle effects are phenomenal! Just look at the currents in the arctic wind! Beautiful!!!

And I think his hair looks pretty good. It’s sooooooooooooo much better than Orchid’s! LOL!

I’m sorry you feel this way…but honestly, Karins stage?? Better than S2 and S3 stages? REALLY??
there are 2 gay, S&M ninjas hanging from the ceiling doing the same weeble wobble over and over again? Plus the poorly animated back ground characters in EVERY street fighter stage that haven’t changed since 1991 or what ever year SF2 came out.

Come on man, I think your just grasping at straws here looking for something to complain about…but whatever.

**** DOES ANYONE HERE THINK SF 5 STAGES OVERALL ARE BETTER THAN KI STAGES?? IF SO PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND *** this should be interesting.

I see no radioactive skin or glued on hair…do you? I was hoping to see his face reflecting in the ice as a hidden ester egg!

Seriously… I would be SO disappointed if they made Tusk a dwarf!
I hope he will be a tall hunk of a man, not a short and stout stump of a man… If he is, I’ll cry! D:

No, I think Tusk looks great! You can’t please everyone no matter how hard you try, there’s always going to be someone complaining about one thing or another, but this game is leaps in bounds ahead of SFV in terms of graphical presentation. I think the lighting overhaul was a really good move on IG’s part. It almost looks like a new game!

I said that Karin’s stage looks better than the Season 3 stages minus the Arbiter stage. Never said anything about the other stages. But yes, Karin’s stage I think looks very visually appealing. The background minus, the people in it, is better than a lot of stuff in KI. There are still other stages that are of similar quality like TJ’s stage but realistically SFV has really nice looking content when it comes to stages and animations and even characters compared to KI.

It may have something to do with KI trying to be “realistic” compared to SF which is trying to be more anime. I can appreciate that art in SF because it all looks well done and there isn’t a counterpart to compare it with but when KI is trying create realistic characters like Tusk it’s easier to see the flaws of human design within the game. Am not saying SFV is better than KI because to be honest I haven’t even purchased the game but if you make someone who isn’t a fan of either game watch a KI trailer and a SFV trailer I think they would say that SFV looks better visually. In fact I find that a lot of times when a KI trailer drops people who haven’t played the game often mention that the KI trailers usually show the characters having poor animations and it’s something I’ve found in every single KI trailer from launch. KI looks better when you’re playing it, animations looks bad/worse in the trailers.

I still think Necalli’s character trailer is unmatched by anything KI has dropped Season 3.

Haha.. He is definitely not a dwarf, and definitely taller than Hisako. Amusing to think about though!
