I’m guessing Eagle. Never liked the character (such as he was) and don’t care a whit about him, but I think it will be him.
Im gonna guess not Eagle. Given their track record, kinda feel like IG likes to do unique stuff. If this character is not a remix, dunno why they’d shackle themselves (figuratively) with Eagle and all assumptions about him.
And honestly, nothing has come up story-wise that makes me care for the character. So far, anyways…
Eagle would be nice, where Joanna could be apart of another season entirely.
Though I wonder what he’ll come back as. Human? Part mutant? The novella is leaving me crazy on what he’ll look like
That’s why I’d have more thoughts on Joanna or another monster character. Eagle would be great, but it’s a little confusing to how he’d fit in with the likes of all these other chars

100% fresh new character. Calling it now it’s a monster-like Wendigo.
Above all other human type host Wendigos, this fearsome creature was the first original that far exceeds other. Throughout the decades/centuries it has taken shape of a 7 feet tall gaunt, slender-like beast with its skin to bone body, long meatless arms and a face of a mauled animal rather than appearing human and what remains of it’s features (human face, human feet, human voice). Until after consuming shadow energy from the flesh of animals gives it more strength and astral powers evolving it to a more dangerous and fearful creature than ever. With it’s slender arms, famished body, ravenous eyes and discontorted jaws lusting for endless cravings, it’s sensational appetite now fixates upon larger meals.
The Coven along with Mira are: A) in alliance with the monster since the beginning and had sent it’s most deadliest demon to consume all shadow energy for to give to the headmaster of cult in their conquest for world domination. B) plotting to capture this elusive Wendigo for storing much shadow energy needed for their dominion over Earth after the Beast has broken free from the headmaster’s influence through devouring the excess of shadow energy.
I kinda got tired then the Wendigo ideas came to mind so I wanted to write as much imagination as I can before I forget. Still hoping they put in a Wendigo as a playable character.

JD would be a waste of a character slot. The other 3 guests were put in the game, because they were promoting something. JD does nothing for KI. She would not be part of the lore. She wouldn’t bring any large group of fans into KI. Lastly she has no new game that they could use her to promote.
I see alot of people complaining about remixed characters, but then want a spy character when we already have one.
I just want a character that will add to the KI world. Eagle would do that nicely, but a brand new character would be great also.

I think alot of the JD crowd is just thirsty for ANY new strong female representation. While I’m all for this, I think we can do better than a niche and outdated character like JD. She has a small loyal following left over from the larger popularity she enjoyed years ago but while other similar female gaming icons have been updated and reinterpreted in new games to refresh their popularity JD unfortunately has not. So she remains kind of forgotten and nowadays extremely niche which is not what you want in a guest character. You want an icon that even casuals will be like “Oh cool I know who they are/where they come from. Take my money.”
Although Devil’s advocate/Socratic method here on my own argument I was pleasantly shocked to see Rash again for most of the reasons listed above. Only gamers of my age are gonna be like “Oh ■■■■ Battletoads! I remember that game!”
I’d enjoy more strong female characters but I would prefer new original ones, remixed ones if done well, or if it absolutely worst case scenario must be a guest than someone more unique and relevant. No offense to the lingering JD fans valiantly fighting for her though.
A shark character could still be epic. I’d personally prefer a Great White but hey do a Hammer Head as an alt “body” or “type” accessory and even an Orca whale one (only one similar enough to a shark to not be odd). Others like Mako or Tiger shark could easily be color options that affect the Default “body” model.
On a similar note a “remix” Saberwulf that is a were-cat with options for different tigers, lions, and jaguar/leopards would be cool imo.
One or both of these would make me happy since there seems to be no plans for a new BLOODY ROAR and I really like were/man-beast characters, lol. Any more than that though would be way too many for killer instinct as we need healthy ratios of humans, beasts, undead, robots, etc.
