Gonna want to see a source on this, because anyone can come in and say “iirc the devs said X Y and Z.”

To create one new stage would require a community fund multiple times larger than what we did with creating Shadow Jago. For the price of five new stages, we could have 2 brand-new characters (without stages). Not building as many stages wasn’t an easy decision for us, but what we get from it, including a robust new single player mode (Shadow Lords), a multiplayer mode, and more, was a good trade, especially given the number of stages we already have.
