Nah, it’s 95% likely going to be Tusk. Might as well get the last of the two returning characters out of the way now, rather than deal with 6 months of various permutations of “WHERE’S TUSK” every single time a little bit of news drops, lmao.
That said, Arbiter looks amazing. Never played a Halo game, so my knowledge is all second-hand from friends who are fans of the series and it’s lore. Surprised that Microsoft Game Studios wasn’t willing to fork over a few extra bucks to get Keith David to reprise the role, but tbbh the new voice isn’t a dealbreaker or hype train derailer for me like it would be for others. Can’t wait!

I know that’s not the topic but didn’t the guys from Ultimate Source said that the figures will launch the same week than season 3 ? Knowing that KI always drop the friday, and that figures are launched the 16, I’m going with the 18.
I could totaly be wrong.
For the Arbiter, I’m wondering if his Shadow Sword attack will be as hard as Aria’s Shotgun to break, or as easy as Spinal’s Soul Sword or Jago’s Laser Sword.

Also story time: when doing a review long ago, we’d notice that some of the banshees were doing big loopdeloops, so big that when they crossed in to view at certain points, they’d just appear to be flying upside down. Maybe this is one of those ‘had to be there moments’ but we had a good laugh watching it happen.

Awesome trailer. Very well narrated, beautiful stage, stellar music, fun combat, and I’m fairly certain we’ve only seen a tiny percentage of what he can do.
I’m not crazy about this character, more neutral than anything else, as I didn’t play much Halo 2 (or much Halo in general after the first one), so I tend to go in with more of an “okay, let’s see what we have here…” Kind of attitude, and I came away impressed and happy with what I saw.
I’m not in love with the idea that a guest gets one of the three stages for season 3, but it makes sense since it’s a Halo character and it does look fantastic. I wonder if this means that there will be more Halo characters since Halo basically gets its own arena?
Anyways, not sure who the voice actor was but major respect to them. Great work! Loved that monologue. Not sure if that was Max or Adam or someone else, but very cool.
I’ll be curious who they tease next (my guess is Tusk), and I’m really curious as to what this season will actually contain since we already know so much of what it won’t have. I’m still nervous about the possibility of a lower character count, less stuff overall, etc. Will season 3 even have an ultra version? We’ll know in time, but I feel like I’m bracing for bad news, even as they show something awesome like this.
Either way, very well done guys! Can’t wait to see more of Arby in action!!

Ah man, so much nostalgia, I’ve always loved the character and this rendition of him really does him justice. ;w; I do miss Keith David, but as @EleganceLiberty said it’s not a dealbreaker. And even if Glacisu will always be the alien that rules my heart, I’m still really looking forward to finding out more about how Arbiter plays.
