If I don’t like Rashid, I might pickup my homeboy Ryu for a while, but from what I’ve seen, he has mixups and solid gameplay.

I have to give Capcom a lot of credit. I have had an hour on the new PC beta and they’ve optimized the game enough that I can run it in 1080p. I was running 900 during the last beta. Playing with Laura, but I don’t really see her as a fun long term character. Anyway, I’ll be away pretty much the whole weekend so this was my shot. Performance online seems pretty good.
??? I thought it didn’t start till today? Did it go online before midnight? I checked around 8pm and no go for me.
Also…I played 3rd Stike for hours last night and man…that game is friggin HARD!!! I can not beat GILL and i have it on EASY!!
What am I doing wrong int his game? I have to find some tech and tips because this game is very difficult against the CPU.

I don’t know. I was jet lagged to all hell, so I got up and tried it around 4:30 am. It loaded up the first time I tried.
Lol at 3rd strike. It’s not easy. At one point in my life, using Ken, I could get to Gill and beat him on one quarter in my college student union…

Yeah i read earlier the beta started at 10pm last night. then it went down again… there is a schedule on Shoryuken.com for the entire weekend
Ill be on tonight hope fully…I believe it goes back down at 11pm.
Ok so the Beta is supposed to be up right now for 12 hours…then another 10 hour maintenance period and back up fro another 12 hours into Sunday.
IM trying to log in now but its not working… well never mind…Im in!!!
Well, got home today to a PC locked up. Rebooted to find out it was updating Windows - automatically for my convenience and safety. Now my whole system is unstable and SFV keeps crashing on load. I’m uninstalling and reinstalling…
This is why I game in consoles…

I hear you! My PC cant handle games…I DL Terrordrome…was so excited…and it barely works… it doesnt crash but it freezes and sometimes the controler doesnt work…i cant play with a keyboard.
I want to get a new PC so bad just so I can play Terrordrome…I love the idea behind that game and wish it was able to be on console.
Man…so happy Karin came back on the last day. Had like no desire to play the beta without her…most of the characters in this game don’t really grab me 
I got to FINALLY play Ken today! And I finally was able to win a few matches with Ken… yesterday I lost every match i played…using Ryu and Zangief. I cant stand how there is ZERO time to practice…i counted it… it took exactly 5 seconds of practice every match before I was thrown into a ranked match against level 8-10 players. That’s my main complaint…I just want to practice for 5 mins before I’m thrown to the lions den!
I might have to main Karin now, so I know all her weaknesses, then use them against you. LOL

Oh…I was hoping you’d say “I’d body you anyways”, but sure… To be honest, Karin doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t like SF mirrors too much, but hey. So no, No Karin Mirrors.

Am I the only one for whom the game is crashing? It’s really bad too - it reboots the computer and ends up scrambling things up on my desktop. This is the first time I’ve had this happen with SFV beta but it’s now essentially unplayable. I think something changes with the first update of the day on Saturday.
I’ve tried other games and nothing else is crashing. Updated my drivers etc. but it’s basically just dead. It happens at inconsistent times but within 5 minutes of starting the game. Usually before I’m even in the practice mode.
