The screenshot with Raphael and Cervantes isn’t the final roster. It’s an early build they are most likely showing off later. It was just leaked a bit sooner than expected.
There’s an event at Melbourne where there will be a tournament, as said in the article. It starts 3pm Melbourne time. And you can watch it here:

Huh, to be honest, I don’t actually know that for sure. The one on the sub-reddit who provided the other info said it wasn’t the final build, but I can’t actually find any official word about it.
However, with those small dots taking up roster slots, we shouldn’t assume it’s final.

Okay, so this reddit user provided the character select screen and stated it was not final. (Just my guess) So that means Aeon still has a chance. I want him in darn it!
I’m excited for this though.
Man my feelings are mixed. I’m excited but also nervous. We are still getting two more characters based on speculation but I’m still nervous. At the same time 'm hyped for character creation.

For a second I thought that was real. 
Still hoping for Necrid. If he’s in at all he’ll be DLC. Really hope we get a second season so that his chances increase a bit.

Ah. Welp here’s hoping the final build will showcase Aeon and Hwang soon. People assume the CAS Lizardmen left Aeon out but I doubt that.
