If you liked Glacius then Basara may be a character for you. I believe they are both very similar.
His movement is slow, both have puddle punch uppercuts, and the anti air is eerily similar with certain specials hitting from diagonal angles (and also from the rear in Basara’s case)
Not very interested in this character up until now but after seeing the stream today, I am kind of sold.
I’m struggling right now to find time to play anything. Besides work and travel I’m competing with my son for the Xbox, and I’m trying to scratch build a miniature city block for when the new Marvel: Crisis Protocol miniatures game launches in November. So yeah. I played a fun set with @Cabp15 a couple of weeks ago and haven’t even logged into the game since (even though it suggests I need a lot more practice with the games basic systems).

Anyway, just letting you know that there might be a character soon that sort of resembles the Glacius playstyle. But I realize that you may never touch your Xbox again until the next generation (that’s a joke btw)
I’ve just finished watching Basara’s breakdown. Although he looks very sharp and has sick moves, I don’t think he’s for me. Not exactly my style. Also he’s like Hanzo (he can’t combo into anything). That’s kinda bummer to me.
@BigBadAndy I’m very addicted to this game. I’ve been playing it every single day, specially now that the online is working decently (not perfect yet though). I haven’t played KI as I used to. I’m getting rusty and lost a match to a gold ranked dude.

@BigBadAndy @Dayv0 @xSkeletalx not sure if you are familiar with SamSho’s team battle or its concept. Below is an online tournament I am attending now. I appear in the second match as Darli.
Some of the best Japanese online players (high ranked players) joined / are joining.
Basically, it’s a 2v2 tournament with health carrying over to the next round vs the next opponent. If you lose then your team mate comes in. Basically whoever takes one round wins. You can apply other rules but these are the rules for this tournament.

Nope. They’re exclusive to you guys in Asia unfortunately.
That’s why i did not see them on my Xbox. This morning I played SamSho on my US Xbox but no costumes were added unfortunately.
I signed up for a tournament next week as Basara, so I got like 5 days to lab
You’re courageous. This character is kinda hard to use. He has some good tools, but he’s punishable in many situations. I’ve already faced a Basara player on ranked today. You’re gonna need time to establish a strong gameplay with him. As I said before, I’m not a big fan of zoners, so he’s not for me. I’ll be waiting for Kazuki.
