Just FYI. Winners semi at CEO had JWong against a Hanzo player (Corey Bell).
And by the way, seeing that same match, I can only conclude that the game runs super smooth offline. Who would have thought?

Yosh-itora mirror in CEO losersโ semi is epic. Some great decision making.
Is this archived anywhere?

Tournament just concluded.
Thanks!
As an aside, is there any game Justin Wong doesnโt play? And to a high level?
JW is a great ambassador in my opinion.
I must also say, James Chen has a three hour long session on mechanics in his twitch archive/YouTube, which impressed me. It really showed in his commentary throughout the tournament. He was well prepared and it helps appreciate what devs are going for.
I mentioned Wu Ruixiang and Tam Tam earlier as zoners but oddly left out Kyoshiro.
He is more zoners than the other two in my opinion. What he lacks is reliable anti air if opponents get too close, then he cannot move fast enough to safety nor get opponents off of him. His jumping is floaty and all anti air moves have lot of startup frames.
I think this could interest youโฆ @BigBadAndy there is a clip embedded once you click the tweet.
Vs Genjuro
The kicks are nerfed but teleporting and mixups are strong. Still requires setup like initial knockdown before starting mix ups.
Dealing w Haohmaru

Good tutorial on punishes in case you were wondering about the flow of this game.
Another Justin Wong tutorial.
Fundamentals this time.
CEO top 8
Generally Kyoshiro has many weaknesses at the moment unfortunately. Every thing he does well is done better by other characters except maybe Shiki.
Interesting to see how things will evolve but so far many seem to struggle.
See 10:35 this is typical SamSho. The second match is also very nice to watch.
Great Grand Finals (NLBC 172). Must see.
That is a pretty epic set. โ โ โ โ , I wish the online worked better.
Mustโฆ Resistโฆ
Cant reallyโฆ Play nowโฆ
Jeez I really really REALLY want to jump in, but its a terrible time for me to get a new game right now
Also Iโm playing Sekiro these days, so the samurai vibe is really strong on me right now xD
I would wait a bit if I were you. The game is doing well so let SNK fix online while you play Sekiro
I have smooth matches online only to then have 4 bars (good connection) run like I am underwater.
Feels good to win the runback.
Actually, if you are already blocking then you can just defense subsequent incoming hits to build up meter. But you cannot do this if youโre being hit as the hitstun doesnโt allow that.
Finished work, so now off to yet another offline tournament. Heard a few Japanese pro players were coming too tonight The goal is to win one match, or, if end up matching up against a pro, take at least a roundโฆ
