I voted no for both, if it aināt broke donāt fix it
The random select would be crazy though lol and quite amusing.
I think that random registration would be nice. The way it is right now, the majority of the people in each tournament is the same. I feel that a random registration can allow new players to join easily. By the time people new to the tournament has heard of it, all the spots are already taken.
I like the setup, I think what would be really helpful is to have a dedicated few to help with valenteering.
If you get sick or something happens, we have have a moderator that you trust to keep things going.
Or just in general someoneās to keep everything from getting crazy. I know you have a set of people already but bigger responsibilities.

Although this sounds great in theory, the reality is that we are never 26 players. There is always some people dropping from the tournament. Having random registration will lead to funny situations, like 3 people dropping when the tournament begins, and people who wasnāt lucky to get choosen by the random registration could not be avaible
