I am not very informed in that matter, but do other current gen fighting games have active scene of online tournaments?
If not, maybe this is a route KI should capitalize on with its stellar netcode, be a first step towards MMO fighting games.

I doubt it will happen cause MS and PS4 are at odds with eachother.
HOWEVER I wonât support this idea unless it gaurantees cross platform play.

Actually, only Sony is at odds with MS. MS has been in favor of cross-platform play and has extended an olive branch towards Sony, which has yet to be accepted by their rival company.
@CrazyLCD,That post is directed to you, If you had promoted KI, positively since March, especially on your streams while discussing possible system changes, community could grow. In any case i think you and paul played a hugh part in splitting and weakening the ki comminity. Even as SfV sucks, u will never see one of thier streamers talking negatively abt it on stream. So even in terms, of professionalism, i think you have a lot to learn

I think 3rd party games should be cross play. There should not be a need to buy the same game twice, so you can play with 2 groups of people.
I think Sony does not want to, because it would need to share some of its game technology to MS so they could link them. I donât picture Sony sharing any technology with outside company.
While theyâe resistant, itâs actually already being done (minimally) with Rocket League, where XB1, PC, and PS4 players can all play together.

Why cant TOs play the other games on Xbox? I personally cant stand playing MK or Injustice on PS4. I donât like the controller and I donât like the fact that anyone can turn the game off with a controller int eh crowd.
All those other games are on Xbox except SF and KOF and GG.
KI just need to be put into everyone filed of vision with some sort of advertisement at game stop

Exactly. From so much negative promotion of character faces and gameplay in streams and soapbox âthis is wrongâ type reviews and publicly promoting negative comments online, itâs a bit too little too late to try to ask for such when there was a platform to help the franchise succeed ESPECIALLY in the field you participate in , EVO events/ tournaments etc

It was originally due to a DLC issue where it wouldnât sync properly which would lead to issues in tournament. After that issue was fixed, there was no reason not to switch to X1, aside from itâs a Microsoft product and therefore can do no right and is unworthy of praise.
I have always wondered that. I donât get why it canât be half the games on one console and half on the other. The winners each play a set on their home console. That would keep it even. A coin toss to figure out which system goes first.
Donât some of these players use sticks that work on both anyway?
I will give MS credit than when it comes to fixing their product they are great, and put Sony to shame.
When Xbox live goes down, it is back up within 24 hours. Sony gets hacked, they hide that fact for 2 weeks, and it takes 6 months to get PS network back up.
I think it sucks that I need to use a PS4 for a game that I could play on my X1
Hey, they are both good products. But people like to demonize Microsoft and elevate Sony. Itâs just how itâs been now for years.

MS made a mistake supporting the HD DVD thing, instead of Blu-ray on the 360. It was fine at the start, but at the end some games were 2 disks on 360 and one on PS3.
I just donât like being told which game to buy for which system when they both can play it.
Exactly, theres only a few titles that are not also on XB1, why is it the decision that titles that are on both platforms default to PS4. thatâs stupidâŠ

Thatâs what I notice and I canât understand why. And this is not just from young kids who love to argue about consoles/PC but from grown men and/or women too that seem to have a bias towards PS4. Theyâre both good products but people just love to bash on Microsoft.
I think the reason is that not enough people have grown up with Xbox yet. People defend PS4 because they grew up with PS1. People worship Nintendo because so many more people grew up with NES and N64 etc. Xbox has never been a very family friendly system. No oneâs parents buy the system for their little kids, no one grows up with it, it falls to the bottom.
