I love Talon’s design, although somewhat iffy on the gender swap. I guess one could argue that the name “Talon” is actually a title for all the raptors leading his/its pack, male or female. I’m not crazy about Vertigo not having legs imo, but, because she is an interdimensional entity, I can kind of potentially see her transforming her own body to whatever she wants, which could open up some interesting gameplay possibilities. Not crazy at all about the design for Sauron, but I really like Armadon’s design with the crystals.
(Fun fact - PR actually appeared in an episode of “Dexter’s Lab”.)
Apparently that one was a redesign/reconceptualization of the character Slash-Fang. According the designer, he swapped the humanoid sabretooth tiger design with that of a cave bear, and I have to say, it looks pretty cool. Granted, I’m not really a fan of Slash-Fang, but it’s cool seeing a lesser known prehistoric animal being referenced.
Whetehr people like him or not he is still unique to the series even for being a few mammal beasts in PR. So If Iw as having a reboot we would keep him as well.
Other characters that could be added as beasts would also be added. If I was working on a PR Reboot.
Same here. I was just saying that one doesn’t see the lesser known prehistoric animals like cave bears that often in media, let alone acknowledged, that’s all.
I LOVE those, the Spinosaur especially. God, PR REALLY needs to come back.
We’ve been working and made quite some progress on our upcoming project.
We had a few delays every now and then and also had to break a way for abit to avoid burn out. But the shot your looking at is on a seen I know for a fact that my brother has been excited to work on. For an obvious reason of course.
FYI Gendy Tartakovsky’s latest work is something called “Primal” which you can stream on HBO max. It’s a wordless animation about a man and a dinosaur who both lose their families to… another dinosaur and then travel the world together mostly having bloody battles with things.
I’m guessing that’s how they made the connection to Primal Rage.
