@TheKeits Hey Keits…how will Omen cash out damage off of Juggles? I keep seeing that you can only cash out with Shadow ender’s. Is this true? I’ve honestly never payed attention to it that closely.

Being Omen doesn’t have a Shadow ender…how would this work?

Also during Shago’s juggles currently…If I don’t use the Shadow DP ender…will all the damage stay potential id I use regular DP to end? And if so, why is the created this way?

Thanks

Characters without Shadow Enders cannot cash out juggles.

Omen cannot cash out juggles.

I think all of these buffs could easily be replaced by just ONE thing.

Omens fireballs need more hitstun.

One of the cool points about omen is that his fireballs are supposed to have a slim chance of “saving” him if he gets hit by something, but currently the hitstun on them is so little, that an opponent can combo you, get hit by a fireball, and then recover faster than you and just keep comboing.

This ONE fix would make his corner game SO much stronger, allow his boomerang fireball to actually be USEFUL, and would punish people who use “carry” linkers mindlessly and push themselves into a floating fireball.

I personally am only hyped up for the improved range on his normals.

So basically the premise of Omens juggles is like Demonic despair? Get them in and then go for a another ground combo to make the damage % much higher and cash it out then? Wouldn’t you loose a bit of the PD since after the juggle the PD slowly regenerates?
Thanks for responding!

Can you please provide some input on my post just now?

Is there a reason why his fireballs have so little hitstun?

They did add more hitstun, rashakukens now cause 4 more frames of hitstun.

Also he has now the posibility of flip out people in juggle state, potentially leading to a one chance combo and big damage!

I know, that is why I asked…Flip out = more juggles…but you cant cash out at the end of the juggle like Shago.

Well, it diferenciates them too.

Shago juggles into shadow ender for damage
Omen juggles into mixup into combo for damage

Omen has maybe less damage due this, but he could follow a ender pattern that gives him advantage.

Combo->Orda ender->Juggles->Flip out->Mix-up->Combo->Orda ender->Juggles…

Yeah, hopefully they’ll flesh him out with more customization in Season 3. He might have been created as filler, but he’s still a unique and legit character. Give the guy some love like the rest of the cast!

Read the list at the top…its all there.

Flipout doesn’t equal more juggles. It a way to turn a juggle into a grounded reset to allow you to go on the offensive again quicker and catch them off guard. This will actually alleviate the issue you mentioned above where potential damage will recover (slightly) as they get up.

Flipout doesn’t mean you HAVE to do more juggles, but it makes the juggles you are already doing more potent.

But it doesn’t reset KV meter right? So therefor you would need to end quick to cash out? And Im curious, once flip out occurs, KV meter is still filling up, do you have to follow the path to avoid opener ender or does anything go after flip out?

Im ready to try it out…S3 cant come fast enough

Flip out resets kv, its a way to force a stand up of the opponent, so you can perform a mix up and start a fresh combo

But, if they have some potential damage in, leads to a possible big cash out

Think of flip out as an alternate version of a sweep hard knockdown. Its not an ender so damage isn’t cashed out and you can’t continue a combo after it but you’re left in an advantageous situation where you can apply pressure and go for a mix up to open up a new combo.

How long is the attack stun for a flip out? they cant block immediately can they?
