StarFox Sabrewulf and Yoshi Riptor were definitely on the list of ideas I had.
Pikachu Orchid might actually work considering she has electrified batons (plus her wearing a ‘fashionable pokemon branded hoodie’ isnt too unrealistic), MetaKnight Spinal (I dig the shield idea) , and Shulk Tusk are very good choices. But Im also fascinated by that TJ idea.
Having it be a sorta “What if he was an actual boss in Punch Out” theme, is a lot more unique than just slapping on the green boxing gloves or pink jumpsuit on him. Which admittedly was what I had in mind initially. Closest comparison I could see is maybe Mr Sandman, or a Mike Tyson inspired attire.
Although for Cinder, maybe instead of Charizard, part of me thinks Magmar would be a more wild fusion. I mean, unless theres another fire type that could fill the role.
I’ll definitely consider some of those ideas though if I ever spruce up any more!

In “Shadow Lords”, there were references to an Ultratech creation with the code-name “Wyvern-X”, a Stalker variant that has Glacius’ genes. You can find some different posts on here about it.

Another sketch of Jago.
If Killer Instinct ever got an official sequel, the idea I was picturing with this sketch is maybe giving Jago two laser swords instead of just having one. Meaning he’d have way more crazy combo potential using both blades to attack.
Basically something to really spice up his gameplay abit. IDK, just make character’s playstyles even crazier than how they are in KI2013 is what I’d like to see, personally.

Very interesting idea. I wouldn’t mind seeing a dual-sword fighter in KI, although I’m not quite sure if I would want it to be Jago imo.
This was from July I think. I told my brother to do that random character select thing and said I’d draw whoever came up and the game gave him Riptor.
Obviously right bc I don’t draw animals
they thought they funny

Here’s a colored version of Jago. I tried basing this off of his KI1 look, although I used Tibetan monk robes as reference to make it both familiar yet (hopefully) authentic.

Failed painting of Jago I tried doing on a wall a few years back.
Was going for a “mural” of sorts, but it did not go as planned. It appears I tend to better with pen/paper over paint.
