My brother sent me a breathless text message yesterday “check out the Nintendo switch trailer!!” So he’s excited about it - mostly because it just looks cool. We chatted and agree that so much is going to depend on the games and functionality.
For the record, just because I am dubious doesn’t mean that I don’t want it to succeed. I think a video game market where Nintendo is a successful and viable third console option is good for gamers.

Do you mean just on this board or (metaphorically) in general? Cuz like nah bro if I saw the most out-loud requests for Smash characters it was Shovel Knight and Shantae.
I meant on this board. I am WELL aware how popular those two are.
