How is her Instinct really any worse than Orchid’s constant cat spamming or Sadria’s web spamming?
Yep, that’s it.
It’s hard for me to not see Shin’s instinct as a powerful one.
The amount of setplay it allows, even when your opponent is just determined to eat it to avoid mixups, is incredible
It seems to be more for setplay. Like you can give your opponent to block your mix-ups and get tons of reset damage, and all they are trying to do is get hit by the hands.
Can you control the direction of her spirit orbs?
She’s safe on everything if the hands are under someone because they can’t press any buttons to punish you without getting grabbed. They have to jump which means Shisako can just anti air them and put them back in the blender.
She’s not safe to a reversal Shadow move, since all are invulnerable to the hands.
Shadow Reversals, maybe. But I’ve learned the hard way that the hands can grab you out of a DP.
@VladKravich You don’t have a ton of control, but if you hold forward while summoning the orb it will move towards your opponent, or at least to the other side of the screen.
So far my toughest matches with shin hisako are against cinder and sadira, I’ll upload a video soon.
While I do appreciate stuffs in theory I actually like it when someone actually plays a good kilgore and see what I mean. I already know how her orbs work but the struggle is real against zoners. Kan ra is another pain. Her overhead gets beaten by normals
Skeleton Accessories too! INCLUDING OMEN AND SHADOW JAGO!!
I feel like a lot of the struggle probably comes from unfamiliarity. Fighting against someone who’s been practicing with their character for months or even years is always going to be an uphill battle with a character that’s been out for 3 days. It took a while for people to really find dirt with Kilgore and Kan-Ra. While Shinsako is more straightforward, that doesn’t mean that everyone who’s playing her now is playing her right.
Give the folks playing as Shinsako time to figure out how to handle certain problem MUs, and then we’ll see how she stacks up. It’s going to be a long time till the next balance patch, so it’s not like we have much choice.
I defintly agree man , its too early to review mus but the salt is real when someone condtions you with kanra or kilgore so much you have to rage quit and hold the L
Shisako has crazy dirt. Either you get hit and be put in an infinite vortex, or block and get hit anyway. Combo break the vortex? Get hit anyway
Her vortex is sooooo easy to set… and having a dp is extremely important for her.
Did you know that shadow qcb p is a great way to punish some projectiles? It’s not projectile invul, but is really fast. Glacius can’t do Hail against metered Shin, othewise she will appear behind him, dodging the hail and opening a combo. And works fullscreen!
Other victims include Spinal H. Skull, Aganos m and h payload assault, Riptor mortar, Cinder pyrobombs, Arbiter nades, Kilgore H.missile, Gargos minion summon, and Eyedol meteors.
Have to test its utility against Gargos pp.
Also, you can set an orb and hit it to beging cleaning the screen. If your orb projectile destroys all projeciles, and you see your opponent trying to launch another one, you could try to punish it!
Shin HIsako is awesome. Give her the OG’s counters, and you guys can basically delete the original version. lol. Made this today
We’re not all lab monsters. I’m not a lab monster. I don’t expect people to only post comments on the forums when they have perfect knowledge and to never make a mistake. But guys, c’mon. In the Shinsako reveal Keits walks through the fact that her orb cross absorbs all fireballs except a fully charged fireball or a shadow fireball. So please don’t come in here and post that she sucks because she has no projectile invincible moves. Never mind that she has multiple teleporting moves.
If it’s too early to judge, that doesn’t mean “post your judgement and then say it’s too early to judge.” Here’s an example:
Correct: “I am struggling to play Shin Hisako effectively against zoners. Tough times.”
Incorrect: “Shin Hisako sucks against zoners.”
The first comment is inarguably true - and people can give you advice and feedback to help you. With the second comment, people can only either agree or argue with you.
Calm your teeths down, I already admitted I was on the wrong. So no need for all that true or false analysis, find something else to do or someone else to point out.
