Watching the stream of Leatherface now…
I’ll just say that going in to it, I wasn’t a fan. Don’t like the character and don’t like that he’s in MKX. I went in the stream kinda hoping to be wowed in to at least wanting to purchase him for the completionist in me that likes to have everything MK.
Can’t say I saw anything that made me want to buy him. Way too many moves that look way too similar in Butcher and Killer, not to mention that lame looking jump/stomp in Butcher, then the Pretty Lady stance that seemed like it was largely chucking stuff at your opponent.
Seemed like you could do some fun juggles with the chain saw, but you can do fun juggles with every character. I didn’t see anything new or exciting that specifically made me want to try this character out.
Oh yeah, and the hammer brutality? I know most might disagree with me, but they’ve gone too dark, too gory with MK. I get that move totally fits the character, I do. But the original MK had more of an eastern themed “mysterious tournament” / Enter the Dragon vibe to it, now it’s like torture pron. I know, there’s always been some dark stuff in MK. MK2 was darker than MK1. MK: Deception was darker and way more gory than MK: Deadly Alliance. But the torture pron isn’t why I play MK and it never was. Kinda hoping they get off their Eli Roth kick for the next MK.
Sorry, for the hyper negative opinion. Just wanted to throw my thoughts out there. Still psyched for Bo Rai Cho, at least. What did other people think? Like him more now? Less? About the same? Still hyped for him? More hyped? Not so much?

I know Leatherface is not really fit into MKX. But his mixup and reset combos are really good.
I hate slashers! They need to go as I don’t like them being a fit of MK!
Why? I know Slasher is not very great because not much damages. But Jason always use machete.

Man you guys are crazy! Leather face is looking awesome, Jason has always looked awesome and IMO they both are wwwaaaaaaaaayyyyy better than Predator and ALien…by far!!! They are better than Ferra to, KUng Jin, Jaqui, ect…
There isnt anything wrong with Leather face…its like everyone is hating him because its the cool thing to do.
There is no reason why he shouldn’t be in MK… no more than the other guests…no more than some of the other characters.
I tell ya this much…I dont see how he doesnt fit anymore than Bo Ra CHo and farting and puking on people. Or a robot that teleports and leaves cyber cubes in his wake and turns into A TRASH COMPACTOR!
